I don't know why it is such a hassle over this Handshake business.
Simply, just don't have one.Let the players shake eachothers hands to whom they wish after the game.

Common sense and Football don't match unfortunately and I suppose the press want a story.

Soooooooo Juventus? Iíll admit now that I hate Championís League nights, they give me headaches and cause far too much unnecessary stress. Iíve no real idea how itíll go tonight but Iím as ever not optimistic.

Not a lot happening. A nice little lightning quick move with Ramires and Oscar but not much else.

Our defence are still a massive problem and our midfield are being out classed, urg Obi is awful.

Yep, Obi yet again doing nothing. A one-legged Vidal and Vucinic running ring around him!

I have heard some decent defences of Obi but for me he has done very little during his time at Chelsea except frustrate the fuck out of me and nothing to suggest why we went through all that palaver. My heart sinks whenever I see his name in the starting 11, which is far more than it really should. Why we still have him but let others go is beyond me.

Romeu, Mata or Moses on for the second half I hope.

With Romeu, you'll at least get a range of passing, and I don't see him protecting the defence any less than Mikel does.

Cock.

Seriously how often does that have to happen until someone at Chelsea notices Mikel is wank? How he has made almost 250 appearances is

Well a little disappointed. Juve deserved something out of that though. To play with two of Oscar/Mata/Hazard, a PROPER defensive midfielder is needed, and that ain't Mikel!

At the start of the game 2-2 would have been lovely but urg as good as Juve are and were tonight 2-0 up with minutes left in the 1st half...disappointing result really. I've no problem with our midfield, or Torres (though he needs support) as I keep saying over and over OUR DEFENCE NEEDS IMPROVING OR AT LEAST BETTER PROTECTION oh and MIKEL IS RUBBISH! I will now not mention our defence until the end of time.

Essien

To be honest its not the worst result.2-2 against the Italian champions is a decent result but the fact you were leading by 2 and ended up getting a draw can be just a painful as a defeat.

Your in a tough group though, and Shakhtar could be the underdogs to progress.
But early days.

Essien has been poor for numerous seasons, which is a great shame, all those injuries just destroyed the player he was.

Great now I feel sad about Essien for no reason.

Romeu? I like him, he's not brilliant but compared to Mikel...

And Mikel was once earmarked as Lampards ,eventual,successor.Blimey.

Oscar seems a great buy,but it really is all about how Chelsea react to when they haven't got the ball or there defensive shape/set-up.

This need became glaringly obvious after the Supercup pasting - I can see you doing well in the league but Europe is big no-no this year with this many holes.

Disagree. Mildly. You may ship a few goals (what with the donkey that is Mikel and the accident waiting to happen that is Luiz) but you sure are gonna score a shitload too. As long as one number is bigger than the other, Bob's fuckin' your aunty. And when Torres hits the next gear......you sure are the new Arsenal (in terms of fun to watch) and I love it. Plus my old man's Chelsea so....you know....

Chelsea did some excellent business with Hazard and Oscar but made a big boo by not signing a defensive minded midfielder. At least Meireles could slot into that role and break up play, can't believe they got rid of him.

I think the history of the Prem would say otherwise. You rarely win titles like that.
