I think Terry, to steal an F1 phrase, has gone off the cliff. His performances will drop quickly over the next 6-12 months.
In short, his body is fucked.

Apparently he's always jacked up on painkillers when playing - eventually he will conk out but he's still got it, I thought he was excellent in the Euros.

Luckily Chelsea have got Cahill waiting in the wings

no Marin? Pffft.

He'll probably be used as a supersub, though I hope to see him start more as he looks real quality.

Have you seen the goals? Lukaku looked like Usain Bolt for his two!

I thought all three played very well and got some lovely goals. I really would love to see Lukaku play more first team football this season and I hope Marin gets his opportunities because he was a freaking bargain.

I'd say there is a good chance of that

Be interested to watch Oscar in the Olympics. Not that I quite understand this stuff of having a medical, but not signing for the team.

Our possible first team line up for 2012/2013...Obi looks out of place though he had improved at the end of last season.

Its an interesting line up. Very much the type that defined RdM's period in charge with the two in the holding midfield positions. So I'd not worry so much about them conceding. Its the linkage between them and the front players.

I think Frank has been a wonderful player for Chelsea, but he's going to have to work very hard (too hard?) so I can see why they are looking at other options. They have a natural one in Ramires coming deeper and Sturridge playing in his position once the Olympics are past, but I have a feeling that they might need Sturridge leading the attack by then.

Chelsea Sign Oscar for 25 Million

I've read a lot about him but never seen him play. So we're signing a lot of young players...

I'm much the same...only seen a few clips. Tim Vickery seems to rate him though, and saw him as an ideal replacement for Modric at Spurs!

Hmm CHELSEA 0 AC MILAN 1

Most of our conceding this tour has come from some very sloppy play, misplaced passing and such. I can never tell what to take from these games.

It's probably been the poorest pre-season of recent times I can remember, but, it is just that - pre-season. Hard to judge really. There are plenty of positives though. Lukaku, Marin and Hazard amongst the goals, with Lukaku looking particularly good. But again, hard to judge them.

Our new boy Oscar scored a nice goal for Brazil earlier https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=500Fo3-_uI4

Anyway I expect an ass kicking tomorrow.

Those two represent, what, like 30m or so sent out on loan? Eek! If Torres isn't firing from the start, then it's a bit worrying. Lukaku was one of the few bright things from our pre-season! It's a shame that we won't get to see him for us this season but I'm hoping it'll benefit him long-term.

Yep just under 30m...It's Torres' defining Season he needs to be scoring and he has no excuse from what I can see, our midfield (Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Marin...) are there to supply him.

Good decision for me, and Andy Townsend saying you get lots of those tackles every week just makes me think it definitely was a sending off.

That guy is fucking clueless.

Bollocks! I rarely agree with the nonsense that Townsend says but he's right this time. That sort of tackle happens twenty times a week...at least.

After two weeks of Olympics, two teams of obscenely overpaid rich people playing out a fairly insipid forty-five minutes (good goal mind) with the only other incident being a clumsy tackle that warranted a red card, followed by the winning fans chanting 'wanker' repeatedly at half-time, is pretty underwhelming.

Two footed one high? Don't think so.

I also agree with Olaf, fans have been a disgrace further highlighted against the fans at the Olympics.
