Sounds like a great idea    Took me ages to search through god knows how many threads to make sure that there wasn't already one for Extras before I started one

Sounds like a handy tool but I don't think it'll prevent duplicate threads.

Superb idea - and it should mean a harder spank for duplicates if someone doesn't bother checking first. But as you say - search is truly crap. And you often can't blame people who 8-9 pages back give up and post!

I must have stamina then, I went back about 15 pages (either that or I had nothing pressing that needed doing)

Sounds good to me. It should at least put a near-stop to all the duplicate Threads that keep popping up around the board.

Sounds like a great idea, especially if it has links. I haven't had too many problems with the search, but the index would be very useful if it was pinned at the top of the thread.

Good, now I just have to organise it.

What I'll do is start adding to my first post here, then once that's got a decent percentage of the more popular threads I'll make it a sticky.

So, for the time being, if you could just make a note of the URL of any threads you post in, add it to this in the following format:

Show Name - Brief Description [ie: US Speed] - Link

That should make it easier for me to copy and paste. I'll add it to my first post for the time being, then when we've got a decent percentage of all the more common threads I'll either sticky this and change the name or create a new thread.

Any chance of  this being a "sticky" thread?

EDIT: I like to point out that the deadwood links are wrong, when you click on the US one it goes to the sky thread and when you click on the Sky one it gos to the US thread

    - Thanks, made the corrections and added the thread.
