Is there a new series of this coming soon?  I always enjoy this programme even if some of the regular guests are cripplingly unfunny.

New series starting in about 30 seconds people.

A great episode (obviously). Bill Bailey is an asset to the show.

No need for panic - it's a rerun of the last series, not a new one

Yeah some papers said it was a new series, others said it was a rerun! How strange! Anyway the new series, series D, is currently recording, and I believe tickets are available through the BBC or one of the other ticket sites! If only I lived closer!

It's not a new series? Oh well, I didn't catch much of the last, so I don't really mind.

I used to think I loved QI, but I have worked out that I only love Rich Hall...

Aaaaa, sweet QI goodness. Vic Reeves was more entertaining than I expected. I need my John Sessions and Bill Bailey fix though.

Well it's repeated on G2tv pretty much all the time so you should be able to quickly catch up.

I love this show. I remember watching the first episode and saying, "Hey, it's the guy off Jonathan Creek! Wait... is he stoned?"

Andy Hamilton's always good value on there too.  He's only been on a couple of times, but was brilliant on every one.

But yeah - aside from the inestimable Fry and lovingly predictable Alan, Bill Bailey and sparring partner Sean Locke are the choice guests, especially when Sean brings up Fry's public school education and how he has his own personal tailors, something he mentioned again in the first episode of the new series.

Details of the first series on DVD HERE. The cover is awful and I'm not sure what the rewatch-ability would be like. Tempting though.

A quiz show (no matter how unorthadox) getting a DVD release is just daft IMO.

But you learn so much on each episode. It's really an educational show disguised as a quiz show.

UK TV Gold show it all the time. No need for DVD.

There's always the need for a DVD.

It totally made my day when Alan Davies finally won the other day!! Amazing! Bless him - he got all his points really early on and then kept quiet for the rest of the time in desperate hope that he wouldn't lose them all...and it paid off! Brilliant

He's won once before I think. Mind you, if you kept your gob shut the entire time you could probably win. I love it when the audience wins
