Maybe he's firing the first shot before the backlash after lord of the rings. King Kong dodged a proper grilling because it was a remake of a classic movie which would be sacrilige, in some peoples eyes, to slate.

I think the guy should do another horror, be it a Braindead or a Frighteners. He's adapted books and done a remake, maybe its time to go back to his own drawing board. Lets get some gore flowing!

Hes writing the script for halo so it should be good then but if its 3 houres long im going to have to take a empty bottle in with me.
