I reckon London Irish (obviously prejudicied but hey!) will beat Newcastle and Bath will come out tops.

Well, Munster stuff Leinster for a birth in the final for the Heineken cup and Biarritz beat what was by all accounts a slightly lacklustre Bath. Should be a good final.

And Leicester deservedly go 2nd - hurrah!!

In other news - the scores this weekend mean that Sale will take on Wasps at home and Leicester will invite London Irish to Welford Road.... for a good stuffing!!!

Well what can I say, Ellis you are in fact a rugby genius.  Great game by Tigers and laughed my arse off when I heard the fans song to Stuart Barnes.

Yes yes and aren't you just loving rubbing it in!  I'm so humiliated.  How dare they let me down so much!  After I'd paid Armitage and Ojo to seriously hurt your boys.  Pah!

All in all, with the pasting being given by Ospreys and Blues recently it ain't good to be Irish.  Come on Ulster - renew my faith!

And Munster of course   Sooooooo looking forward to Saturday

What a fantastic match!  Yay Stringer

Now to support the Tigers next week.  Entirely through gritted teeth.

Bloody frickin' Gloucester!

One question fellow rugger fans, have any of you ever witnessed the rugby equivalent of a penalty shoot out?  My father is the only person I know who's ever seen one.  It sounds so very intriguing.

Nope, never seen one.  Apparently it got a bit close to one during the Gloucester/London Irish game.

Bloody Gloucester

Yeah, I was willing it to be one but alas it wasn't to be.

I was willing it to be an outright thrashing for Gloucester!  No silverware for us this season

Fingers crossed for mine, although I still object to the play-off system I do hope Tigers win.  Come on Captain Cozza!

Well what can I say?  Tigers didn't show again which was rather disappointing, but I stay by my previous post about the play-off system.  Sale are the deserved winners.

Disappointing? Piss poor more like! It was embarrassing.

I have mixed feelings regarding the play-off system. It can make the league more exciting in that it gives something to play for right up to the end - often the 3rd and 4th places are fiercely contested things.

BUt on the other hand, it is a bit of a pisser when you 'win' the league only to lose it in the play-offs.

Izzard one question, have you ever seen a rugger match decided on penalty kicks?

No I haven't. Not sure if they've ever happened in a professional match. Or any match for that matter!
