Just watched it. One of the best games I've ever seen. Still can't believe that Ireland didn't win that. Phenomenal effort, amazing game, jaw-dropping final seconds.

The whole stadium was on their feet just roaring and cheering. I don't think I'll ever experience anything like it again.

I'm very envious that you were at the game. I was busy all afternoon, so had it recorded and was able to miss any news from it.

I was convinced that the NZ team would come back in the 2nd half. And only with about 5 minutes to go started to think it could happen. Then but for a missed penalty, a rush to get rid of the ball when hanging onto it would have run down the clock it should have been. But what entertainment, one of the very best games of rugby and I hope that after the crushing disappointment of not winning the players are rightly proud of themselves today.

an outstandingly entertaining game I must say. But in the cold light of day Ireland just made too many unforced errors to 'deserve' to win. And NZ's will to win is just immense - there was such an inevitably about that final try, once they got possession back..

So Wales play Australia in the final Autumn International before the open of the Six Nations against Italy. The last few games against them have been absolutely painful and I can't see this being any different except for a larger point win for the Australians. Still good luck boys...

This is why we don't and have not beaten Southern Hemisphere teams...

Our line-outs have been appalling, Australia look like they can score every time they come forward and Halfpenny is injured...awesome. A fun first half though.

Well Wales won.

How entertaining was France vs. England though? I really enjoyed watching that one.

Missed the Wales game. France vs. England was very good.

O'Connell out for Ireland today might make this closer than it could otherwise have been.

Good start to the tournament. I think Ireland were probably the most consistent team although would I be correct in saying that Scotland had the majority of the possession, which also bodes well. That said, it was Scotland. Wouldn't be too confident going into next week, although Wales did look ropey at times. France-England was the most entertaining match although the quality at times was very scrappy.

Great performance from Ireland, completely choked the life out of the Welsh and didn't give them a chance to play. No perfect, the first twenty minutes were a bit dodgy but to beat Wales by 20 points (gutted we didn't get a third at the end) wow.

If my Wikipedia search was as thorough as I believe, the last time Wales won just 3 points in a 6 Nations match was against France in 2000, 3 points to 36.

I think there've been greater losing margins for us since then, but ouch!

Ah the highs and lows of supporting the men in red!

A confident, disciplined performance by Wales. Totally dominated the French who looked ponderous for most of the match. To be fair, they didn't get much change out of the Welsh defence; Fofana hardly touched the ball for the first hour.

There's still room for improvement, but that's hell of a turnaround in 2 weeks!

I've thought about this every game so far but how the fuck does Rhys Priestland get into the team? I mean maybe Im watching different games to everyone else but my god hes appalling, how he stayed for an hour is a miracle. Not that anyone else is playing any better but fucks sake...

Funny old game. Wouldn't say it was dramatic or of terribly high quality (a few pleasing moments from my England fan's perspective though - David Wilson's rumble through the middle and Luther Burrell's nearly try in the second half) but because it felt like it went at a fair pace I really enjoyed it. The result probably helped too, of course. Not enough good things to say about Mike Brown, his haircut matches his playing style: no-nonsense.

And yes, I've been looking at Wikipedia to see when England last won by 60 points against Italy... Er, well done Ireland you've deserved it.

Came close in '11, the last time Ireland beat France in Paris was '03 and that's the only time we've beaten them in Paris in 43 years

Oh yeah you're right, I completely disregarded recent years and went back to around the time of the '03 side.

Even if France turn up, I still think Ireland will have too much for them.

I was really hoping Italy might put up a better fight. Very messy game so far, but if it continues like this England should have no trouble getting 50+ points

YES!!!!

Very tight match, could've gone either way. I thought Cian Healy was lucky not to get a sin bin. I have to say even I'm getting a little tired of all the focus on O'Driscoll (and I know he is as well).

The forward pass from the French when it seemed easier to score than not, summed up their tournament. Fantastic stuff from the Irish squad and management. England had their chances and will be pleased with progress. Holy fuck Scotland are useless.
