Those ABs are some dirty so'n'soes.

Rugby should allow TV replays to get someone being a dirty so'n'so sent off.

Come on Wales.

Oh yeah, Scotland are pants.

I think this - http://v2journal.com/men-of-honour.html - pretty much sums up my opinion of the ABs from yesterday (and no I didnt write it but I wholeheartedly agree!)

The pools have been drawn for the World Cup. As an England and Wales supporter all I can say is bugger.

Take a butchers here.

Part of me thinks it could have been kinder (Scotland's pool for instance) but the other part says bring it on! Wales know they can beat both, but what form will any of these teams be in come 2015? To get excited (or disappointed) based on recent results is just hot air at this stage. Don't forget that Wales are Grand Slam champs and WC semi-finalists - a lot can happen in 6 months... let alone 3 years!

I get ya, Fuzzy. It's just annoying that both of my teams ('mixed'-heritage of English and Welsh you see ) are in the same group.

I only quoted the post cos it was about the draw, wasn't aimed at you mate. I've just read a lot of shit today about how Wales fans see it as gutting based on recent form and how England fans think its a shoe-in because they just beat NZ. Unfortunately rugby fans are a fickle bunch with very short memories!

If I was looking at it from a neutral point of view, I'd say anyone getting Wales as a third tier option and Fiji as a forth is probably the worst thing. You'd never hear England and the Aussies admitting that though.

Very short memories indeed

Well there's nigh on three years till the World Cup so Wales and England have a chance to grow as teams. I was so utterly peeved during the final moments of the Wales and Australia match. What were you thoughts on Nathan Sharpe taking that last conversion? Must say here at the Ref household, we here none-too-pleased at it - I thought it was disrespectful to the Wales team.

And England, yes we beat the AB, but lost a few others along the way. And also the AB had just gotten over a virus too. Nothing to boast about, methinks.

On the Nathan Sharpe kick - I shared Eddie and Brian's opinion that it was very disrespectful. And the fact that Halfpenny was lying in his way receiving medical treatment (later taken to hospital) just made it even worse IMO. But that's the Aussies for you.

This. We really are playing dreadfully; itís going to be a massacre. I still canít understand our ginormous drop in form it's like we're free falling into a pavement face first.

Indeed. Still the score line is a billion times more respectable now and it was at least earned.

Lovely stuff

Fair play to Wales in the second half, so glad the Irish defence managed to hold out. Real test of Heaslip's leadership ... and yet O'Driscoll gets man of the match maybe we should've kept him on as captain

It had to be, we barely got a touch of the ball in the second half

England win the IRB World Sevens series in a thrilling final against Kenya in windy Wellington, N.Z.
It was a great final to watch, Kenya should have clinched it with just a few seconds to go but a wonderful try saving tackle (that dislodged the ball on the try line) denied them. England win in extra time.
