I think you'll find the actual cost is 200 credits, which works out at about �1.50. They may have got confused by the Eurogamer article which mentions that 2100 credits costs around �17.50. Either way, PlanetXbox mussed up good.

Incidentally Eurogamer gave FIFA 2006 2/10. You won't find the review because it was pulled for breaking a press embargo.

are we all feeling that glow of anticipation that only a new console can bring?? I'm still quite nervous about getting the thing home though...walking around Croydon high street with a big GAME bag I may as well carry a big sign saying "Mug me! Free Xbox 360 Here!!"

Gamestation in Watford have got Dominik Diamond and GamerTV recording at their store tonight........

I have a Xmas party in London and am scared that in a drunken moment I'll stumble into a shop at midnight and try and purchase one!

My sister pre-ordered a while back and was guaranteed one from Nottingham HMVs 'second batch' which were going to be available on the 9th. She's just been told that Microsoft have cancelled the delivery, and is rather understandably pissed off...

I feel for your sister. In one way I'm glad I preordered mine late, I know I won't get it until mid January and least I don't get disappointed by not getting mine immeadiately. And it a cliched way it gives me something to look forward to in a time where I have more free time to burn.

There is said to be a few core systems going on sale tomorrow plus a few premium packs if you check the right stores. PC World and the supermarkets are your best bet.

I could go on an impulse buy and try and get one tomorrow though I haven't planned it yet. I'd have to be up early though. Does anyone think I should try?

I'm not that bothered about getting one yet. Saying that, if I did see one available (unlikely) I'd buy it. Sounds weird, I know. I rang the big 24hr ASDA in Wolstanton about 3pm they said people had already started to queue.

There's nothing on launch I really, really want. I only play on Pro Evo anyway.

Next generation gaming will have to wait for me.

Gizmo couldn't open his - he grabbed it on his lunch break and was then stuck at work. He won't have a proper play on it until Saturday, as his Sex change is scheduled for tomorrow.

Went to Tesco to get ready to queue at 7 but some strange types had come in and sat at the desk at 3.. lunatics.

Getting up early tomorrow to pop down to Asda. if i see a queue when i pull in the carpark there will be some serious GTA action going on

Nah to be honest i'm a bit like Rocky (no not just extremely handsome) I can take it or leave it.. but i would deffo take it if it was there.

Still got my HMV preorder which i reckon should be in a week or so so its not all doom and gloom.

I was thinking, whilst trundling through Tesco in despair, of setting fire to something and then once everyone was evacuated, running in claiming to be off to rescue a baby or a mentalist, then legging it out the back with a 360..

Sorry to disapoint but the scenes in Manchester were quite tame. I had a look around and the ques weren's that big. They were only letting people into the Arndale if they had pre-orders but the que wasn't as big as I thought it would be. The two HMV's werent even open and the que outside Gamestation was tiny. There was a note on the door of the Virgin shop just off the high street saying that they'd be open at 8:30 and that they had 8 XBoxs. But only two of them were the Hard Drive packs and the other 6 were just the Core units. There were already two guys at the door queing and they both said that they had picks on the Hard Drive versions.

Just got home from GAME in Belfast - where the queues were much longer than I'd expected (gonna be a lot of disappointed non-pre-orderers) - with my premium pack, 6 games and other assorted gubbins. Making myself wait till tomorrow to play it, as hopefully my HD ready LCD will arrive early in the AM.

I'm just glad I can now stop having anxiety attacks!!!

just got mine from my local GAME store. No queues at all but there were quite a few outside Dixons, Virgin etc. Bought my premium pack, Perfect Dark Zero and an advanced scart cable...only trouble is I'm at work and I just know it's gonna be sitting there taunting me. Might feign illness
