Well the pre-season hope for the Redskins took a bit of a dent last night going down 17 - 14 at home to the Vikings. Not a terrible loss but the offense look worringly ineffective. Santana Moss having the most rushing yards in the first half!! Lets just hope Portis is properly back next week

I was just about to come on here and moan about the choice of early game on Sky tonight, Bills at Dolphins, when I realised that you can now view an alternate game using the active NFL.  Fantastic that means I can watch the game that I felt should have been the early game, Giants at Eagles.  The coverage on Sky is pretty damn good, I've always felt it lacks a 2 hr extended highlights midweek show, but this service makes thier coverage fantastic.

Should be a cracker later on tonight, even so early in the season, with the Jets at New England.

Didn't know Sky were letting you select the game!!
Why aren't they showing the Bears though!??!
They romped to a 34-7 victory over Detroit... sacking the Lions QB 6 times....

Well, after losing to the Colts in Week 1 which was highly disappointing it's good to see we're trying to get back on track with a win against the Eagles. It was a fucking incredible game.

17-points down at the start of the 4th and we end up tieing with a field goal with only 7 seconds remaining. Then winning the game, with that pass from Eli was amazing. Instead of going 0-2 like I thought we were gonna we're 1-1 and I'm looking forward to giving the Seahawks a spanking next week!

Watched the Steelers game on Channel 5 last night and although not a classic in the sense that there were no TD's it was a cracking little game. Jaguars defence was immense last night recording a shut out against the defending champs. Amazing. The Steelers offence was nowhere to be seen, kudos to Ben Roethlisberger mind you for playing 13 days after having his appendix removed. Still, didn't have the best of games, who can blame him?

Missed the Steeler game on 5 but the Jets-Pats game on Sunday night on Sky was awesome. Thought we had it completely in the bag until the Jets started to rally late in the third. Was chewing my hand off with 5 minutes to go but we held it together to go 2-0. I'm a little worried about the defensive lapses so far this season. I know it's early and if any team was going to be able to score freely against us it might be the Jets, with former Pats defensive coach Mangini in charge of them now. But I'm not completely convinced that we can go all the way. We'll definately get to the play-offs and probably the Championship game against the Colts but I have a feeling it might finally be Peyton Manning's year.

Missed the Steelers game last night (thankfully, it sounds awful), but the Giants - Eagles game on Sunday was superb!

I really thought that the Giants were going to throw it away with those 2 penalties putting them from the 11 yard line to the 28 or so, but Manning pulled it out with an excellant pass to win the game.  I was really wanting the Giants to win, cos the Eagles just took it far too easy in the fourth.

Solid performance from New England again, good defence, good offence, and when the Jets came back in the forth they raised their game to see them off.

Anyone else want to see Dallas lose just to see TO get pissed off and start blaming everyone at the club bar himself.

It was only awful if you're a Steelers fan otherwise, despite the scoreline it was a really entertaining game. They had no offence and the Jaguars defence looked the mutts nutts.

As for the Giants...like I said before a cracking game!......GO GIANTS!

Fantastic.  Bengals at the Steelers should be a cracker!  Not so sure about the Rams at the Cards though.

Would love to see the Bengals snatch a win here.

And beating the Steelers as well. The Bengals look to be one of the form teams at the moments.

The Dolphins scraped a win 13-10. Not impressive, but I'll take anything at the moment.

Redskin Mark Brunnell set a single game consecutive pass completion record with 22.

Brett Favre became the second QB to throw 400 TDs, finishing the game with 402. He needs 18 to tie Dan Marino's career mark (which I must confess hoped would last a lot longer than it looks like it will).

3 wins out of 3 for the Bears.
Bit touch and go last night against the Vikings, but Grossman pulled another TD out of the bag with just under 2 minutes to play.
I believe we're the first team to score a TD against Minnesota this season.... either that or they'd only conceded 1 TD before yesterday's game.

Don't think Favre will get the record.
Looking him pulling off just under 2 TD completions per game until the end of the season and I don't think it will happen.
It will be close though......

Mmmmm...

Well after this weeks bye I'm looking forwards to Sundays game against the Redskins just hope we can pull this one out of the bag otherwise things are starting to look pretty gloomy down at the bottom for the Giants. Redskins seem to be building up a head of steam aswell which isn't good for us!

Raider lost again so that's 0 - 3 for the season. I think we got 49's this weekend. Both teams are so bad it end up as 0 - 0

5-0 for the first time since 1986...... the Bears are tearing teams apart.

Great to see them live on Sky last night and they looked awesome both defensively and offensively.

Incredibly impressive. Do you think they can match the team of '85? Or even go one better and remain unbeaten throughout the season?

A lot depends on keeping everyone fit..... specifically Rex Grossman.
He's not had much luck in the last 3 seasons, so here's hoping that he doesn't pick up a nasty knock!

Not sure they're up there with the team of '85 and I do expect a couple of defeats this season, most likely on the road.

Agreed.
I think they might well do what the Colts did last year and rest players later in the season once they've secured their place in the play-offs causing them to lose a couple.

Actually, looking at the remaining games, it's quite possible that they could go unbeaten:

@ Cardinals
49ers
Dolpins
@ Giants
@ Jets
@ Patriots
Vikings
@ Rams
Buccaneers
@ Lions
Packers

Probably the trips to St Louis & New England would be the defeats.
Feel pretty confident that the Bears would win all the others.

Away to the Giants, Jets and Pats in consecutive weeks could be a killer, with the Pats taking advantage of a tired Bears side to hand them their first defeat.
Their schedule seems particlarly harsh through November/early Decmeber. After sunning themselves in Arizona, San Francisco and Miami they then have to play 2 games in NY then travel to New England and Minnesota. Hope they pack their long-johns!

Yeah, I agree that the trips to Jets, Giants & Pats will be a tough set to go through.

As for the weather - won't be an issue.... Chicago in the winter isn't exactly pleasant!!!

Denver beat Baltimore last night 13-3 to end the Ravens unbeaten start to the season and go 3-1. If only they had an offence to back up their defence they might be in with a serious Superbowl shout. Defensively they're ranked 1st in terms of points conceded and 3rd in total yaradage conceded. Unfortunately, offensively they are 30th and 31st respectively. Tennessee are 0-5 and are ranked above Denver offensively!
