Garden State: Good compilation of songs if you want a chilled out CD. Also, I borrowed Anchorman. Anyone who loves the movie, should definitely buy the soundtrack. Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy talking about the songs, when he listens to them and memories he has before they are played is just amazing and so funny. He cries throughout a song while explaining bad experiences. The songs are a great listen too.

The road to Perdition by Thomas Newman.
An amazing soundtrack and so much better then American Beauty. My favourite tracks are "The road to Chicago","Meet Maguire" and the piano duet of Paul Newman and Tom Hanks.

Well... I'm kinda torn.

Officially, the last soundtrack I bought was to Money Train, I'd easily recommend The Train is Coming by Shaggy and Keen Booth and Money Train Suite by Mark Mancina... a nicely 'urban sounding' tune from the opening of the movie and some nice dramatic scoring (sadly, Dancing Without Sleep isn't included on the soundtrack).

I'd also like to mention the score to Independence Day by David Arnold... some really nice scoring work here... and my favourite track by far is Evacuation, so many different moods, mini-music-themes and flavours in a single track... it's like the musical version of hundreds and thousands.

You can find previews from the Independence Day score here: http://www.amazon.com/Independence-Day-Original-Soundtrack-Recording/dp/B000003G4G/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/000-6425834-8406978?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1172861195&sr=1-1

A very "chilled-out" album, which definitely does justice to the movie.

Lyrically weaker, musically stronger than The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Over the last month I've bought

The Fountain-Clint Mansell.  Hypnotic, quite minimilist music but an awesome listen,my current fave
Spiderman 2-Danny Elfman.  Well I love Elfman, the main theme is one of my fav.pieces of music. This was a 2CD set of the complete score, technically a bootleg but superb sound. Can't see how Christopher Young's score for Superman 3 can be as good!
Rocky-Bill Conti
Rocky 2-Bill Conti.  Bought these for 5 each as I enjoyed the Rocky Balboa compilation CD so much. The odd weak track but has some of the most rousing film music ever-Gonna Fly Now,Going The Distance, etc.

Been on a bit of a spree over the last few days

Could have done with fewer sings and more original music, but it ain't bad, Plus, it has singing slugs

2 great scores by Phillip Glass. I really need to get some more of his stuff.

The Album Of the Soundtrack of The Trailer of the Film of Monty Python & The Holy Grail . This is pure brilliance. All the best bits from the film but all the additional stuff is hilarious. Superb!

Score and OST

It's superb. It's actually the second time I've bought it, I managed to lose my first copy, but not until after I'd listened to it countless times. Definately one of my favourites.

Two more today.

My last soundtrack was to Poseidon. "Won't Let You Fall" is a great song!

One of the strangest mixes of recordings and original music I've heard. Not all great, but very compelling.

Well not exactly a cd but a record from a second hand shop:

A Star Is Born

The last soundtrack I bought on cd was:

Somersault (composed by Decoder Ring)

Both brilliant if I should say so.
