Ive always loved the original Pelham 123...its brilliant...Walter Matthau in a very different role, he fills it out just perfectly...
So when I heard that it was going to get revamped...I was appalled at first but then I suddenly rememebered the really cool soundtrack....I bought it on Itunes, and I wasnt let down....a perfect score...

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by Nicholas Hooper, which I loved somewhat to my surprise! Creative use of choir and loved the main sad theme.

Inglourious Basterds, partly due to the fact that I wanted the free vinyl being offered at HMV, only to discover the offer ran out, so I ending up buying both even though I only wanted the vinyl... Cack.

In my opinion Garden State has the best soundtrack of all time in their movie, I have never heard a soundtrack that elevates a film like it did in garden state.

RocknRolla also has a very good soundtrack

Finally managed to snare this soundtrack on eBay - expensive but worth it. This is the 1995 special edition, featuring every piece of music from the film, some of which was unreleased beforehand and the CD is now a 'deleted' title. The next soundtrack CDs I purchase (hopefully!) will be verrry interesting...

Seems like I haven't posted in here for ages. Not been buying as many soundtracks of late, but I picked these three up over the last few months.

Pulp Fiction: Collector's Edition, plus a bundle of classic musicals: West Side Story, The Wizard Of Oz, Wicked (Broadway Cast, doesn't really count though) and Guys And Dolls...Always nice to hear a bit of Brando singing

To be honest, I'm rarely away from the soundtracks section in HMV, it's always the first place I go to when browsing for CDs, and I've come across a few pleasant surprises in my time too...
