Since I couldn't find another one on here, I'm starting up this thread for all things Labyrinth!

What a great film, downloaded some songs from it recently, and they're as good as ever

I bought Labyrinth cheap from Woolies the other day - great quality on DVD too

Absolutely adore David Bowie and Jennifer Connolly in this fantasy film and Kudos to Henson for the incredible designs.

Ah Miss Connolly in that nightie. My first childhood crush. Sigh.
Also have the soundtrack tucked away somewhere. Love Dance Magic Dance.

Labyrinth is a brilliant. As a child my favourite character was Sir Didymus but I haven't seen it for ages. Those who haven't seen it should be sent to the bog of eternal stench!

As much as I love the film, I dont really like this scene, with the dancing and the people in Masquerade masks, and the mirrors & Bubbles and chair smashing glass thingy! As fantastical as it all was, this just didnt ever sit well with me!
Love the rest of it though....

....and I do a mean Ludo impression, I get practice as there is a girl at my work called Sarah! hehe   (she doesnt smell bad, and im not sure she even knows what im actually doing the voice for, but I find it amusing)!

'Well...laugh....'

I loved Labyrinth when it came out. You know, David Bowie as the Goblin King was my first ever full blown crush, I was 11. It must have been those tights  I loved the masquerade ball scene, I wanted Jennifer Connelly's dress so badly.  The songs will probably be really cheesy to hear now I expect, I watched the Neverending Story recently and laughed at the naff synth music!

I can't believe some people think Labyrinth is dated

It's still brilliant! I'll have to agree with you katbirdnz on the whole crush thing with Bowie. He was just so cool - perhaps it was the tights and make-up combined

I ask for so little. Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave.

And I loved the song just after the masquerade

Unfortuantly it was a professional juggerler doing the spinning, not Bowie.  Most people have to reassess their life after hearing that.  I'm sorry.

How bizarre that this thread should show up today. I was going through the CD's at work today and found a copy of the OST, which I immediately put on in the shop. Ah, love it!

"Goblin King, Goblin King! Wherever you may be, take this child far away from me!"
"That's not it!"

I know there was a Labyrinth thread a while back - I posted in it! Hm... strange.

Anywho, LOVE Labyrinth. KB and I were saying that we always wanted the dress. I know I'd look like a giant marshmallow in it, but I still want it. Oh, and to sum up my love of Labyrinth, four words: David Bowie's leather trousers.

Jackie.

Brilliant movie although I remember being scared to death of it when I was a kid although I still used to put it on all the time. Bought it on DVD there recently and it hasnt lost any of its charm. I love the music in it and The Bog of Eternal Stench is classic.

Great movie.

If you were stood before Jennifer Connelly wouldn't you have a bulge in your pants?!

No, it's brilliant

You know, matey, how much I love this film. Sir Didymus was the funniest character ever when I was 6  But Jareth remains my true love

'You remind me of the babe'
'What babe?'
'The babe with the power'
'What power?'
'The power of voodoo'
'Who do?'
'You do'
'Do what?'
'Remind me of the babe'
