Silver Surfer is arguably th emost powerful hero in the Marvel Universe (Depending on what you think of Sentry). They had better not screw it up!

 From the first film my expectations for this film is low. Let's hope that bringing the shiny hippy into the film will help make it more than the original was.

they fucking struggled in a film that contained, an invisible woman, a stretchy man, a man made of bricks, a man who could fly and wreathe

himself in flames, a man who turned to metal and could conduct electricity, now they plan to include a silver man who surfs around in space

preparing planets for destruction by a big powerful dude.

tim story is bollocks man, hes even including the fantasti-car. i read that recenety on SHH.

i bet Doom if he is in it will team up with our not so fantastic heroes and defeat silver surfer, only to turn against them at the end.

all in a hour and a half like, dont forget that.

I sense a disturbance in the force with this one. For me the SILVER SURFER SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN INDIVIDUAL FILM just wished james cameron had something to do with this.

 The first film was a dull dissapointment. Hopefully the arrival of the Silver Surfer and Galactus can make for a more interesting story.

 So it's gonna be called Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer?
Sounds like the silver bloke may be taking centre stage in a movie with four under developed superhero's in it already. With the first movies director already installed this could be a convoluted mess, with a couple too many superhero's. The only good thing about the first one was Mickael Chiklis as The Thing. I read today that the Silver Surfer will be entirely CGI. So we can either expect a Scorpian King in the Mummy Returns mess, or some Gollum quality CGI.
I won't hold my breath...

 I'm gonna watch it! I didn't think FF was THAT bad - it was a watchable average superhero flick and Jessica Alba looked lovely.

Last years FF was great. Iloved Batman Begins and i loved this too in a different way. FF2 sounds great and both are better than this years "Return", and obviously FF2 isn't even finished!

for the love of god why? we went through comic book movies being shit and tacky! David Hasselhof as Nick Fury, really?
Anyway, i bloody hated FF and i cant see FF2 being any better even if it is going to have galactus in! and lets face it, thats not a dead cert, maybe the film will build up to his arrival and he wont turn up until the very end leaving a cliff hangar hoping that'll make people want a third! And the Fantasticar? Why? in the comics the FF spend as much time on a invisible pad created by sue storm while the human torch pushes it along! Why cant they do that? It'd be better than that stupid flaming Fantasticar! Next thing we know Spider man 3 is goig to be the debut of the spider car or the spider copter! (and yes they are real things from the comics!)

And how. Silversurfer is just too much of a plot. They're gonna have to explain how he came about as well. It's just unfair as to what they're doing to one of the best, if not the best, superhero out there.

Then again, we say superhero, he was kinda anti-hero. He never liked Galactacus but his sacrifice was what saved his world...that was good, but doing Galactacus' work is hardly a nice thing to do!

Then again, Galactacus looming over Earth could be done spectacularly...this might be worth watching. Just, I'll wait for someone to convince me to watch FF1 first.
