Q. which movies have you watched have great soundtracks.

My Choice for today is - Moonlight Mile (starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Susan Sarandon and Dustin Hoffman)

Im not talking about just one song her folks in a whole film, im talking about the entire thing.

another choice to make you think

Garden State

Garden State has a great soundtrack but the film feels like a twee collection of Braffs favourite songs and little else.

You really can't beat The Lost Boys soundtrack.

It was the first one I bought, and it's STILL the best.

And obisouly the standard Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs.

I've got the soundtrack to every Quentin Tarantino film, they're great.  Other ones I own which are good:

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Grosse Pointe Blank
Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery
Both Spider-Man films (although 1 is better)

Can't argue with a soundtrack like that!

Here are some of my favourite movie soundtracks that come to my mind for a great soundtrack.

The Full Monty- Donna Summer's Hot Stuff, anyone?
Pulp Fiction- Dick Dale and His Del-tones never sounded so cool!
Resevoir Dogs- You won't hear "Lime in the Coconut" in the same way, again!
The Blues Brothers- Say what you want about the film, but this soundtrack is just brilliant to listen to again and again!
Beetlejuice- Great film has a memorably great soundtrack-cocktail of Danny Elfman and Harry Belafonte!

Probably because it's still only available in vanilla, extras-free version. .  I know there was a second soundtrack volume that was released, there are a few brilliant songs in the film not on the first CD, eg. Lucky Day In Hell by Eels.
