the legend that is garth marenghi,this show is genius if it wasnt for the realms of downloading i would never known its brilliance so i pay tribute to one of the greatest shows to grace our time.although im missing 2 episodes...anyhoo

 Apparently, the DVD is out on August 28th.  The bike chase with Noel Fielding is a barnstormer.  Too many class lines to pick a favourite, but while I'm here...

The first episode was an absolute corker, notably the funeral scene with Lerner randomly shooting off his pump-action, paper grave stones flapping in the wind, Dagless shooting the mother and torching the zombie/corpse/Larry but my favourite moment was the emotional exchange between Dagless and his best buddy.



Larry: "I think I'm gonna die"
Rick: "No you're not, you're gonna make it, I'll get help. NURSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! First things first I've gotta stop you bleeding"
Larry: *cough* *splutter* "Rick, I beg ya...kill me"
Rick: "Oh Jesus Larry, don't do this to me"
Larry: "I beg ya...it reaaaaaaaaaaaaaly hurts"

I was hoping that in light of the huge fanbase that this show has developed it would persuade Channel 4 to commission an second series, sadly not it appears, still I think they should hang their heads in shame for screwing this wonderful program up in the first place.

"The wasps are in the cockpit!  There are too many of them!" Cut to bloke with five wasps on fishing wire hanging beside him.  Sheer class.  Otherwise I'm not sure about Man to Man.  Maybe I just want Darkplace series 2 instead.

Darkplace is cult classic TV at it's best.  In ten years we'll probably look back at it with reverence like Fawlty Towers or The Prisoner.  I loved the bar fight where the extra walks in shot, realises he's too early, then steps back, then in walks Sanchez.  Then the extra gets a chair slammed over his head.

"Blood.  Blood.  Blood.  ...and piss.  And shit."

Classic show.

Im a big reader of shaun hutson's books,(I have them all!) There very good and def worth a look for horror/thriller book fans.

They also made the film af slugs!!!

 our DVD of Dark Place arrived on Friday and I can't stop watching it! It is so hilarious!

I can't believe I missed this when it was on TV.

Fave bit so far - The Apes of Wrath bicycle chase! Awesome!
