I must say I very much enjoyed this. The scares are decent, the plot is intreguing and the general idea is somewhat pointless but original. The characters aren't that great but the over all feel of the film will leave you satisfied. Worth a watch at least.

I saw this by mistake, and thought it was okay. Nice premise, and at least one good actor.
I jumped a few times, too.

I'd put it on a par with Silent Hill. (The movie, not the games - which are referenced throughout)

However - I was really disappointed that a spin-off game wasn't released. I even went looking for it after watching the film.

Then again, that'd be a bit like releasing The Ring's creepy video to buy...!

i was dragged along to the cinema to watch this on the opening night, thinking that this film was going to be awful. to be honest it wasn't that bad. good plot and a few jumps make this film watchable.

Picked this up second hand for £2. I've always had this theory, you see, that any DVD under a fiver, no matter how bad, is still always worth it just for pure entertainment value. This film proved that theory wrong.

stay alive wasnt the best film but it also wasnt the worst! i do agree that it was a great idea gone to waste, with a director of Quinten Tarentino it wold have been perfection but unfortunaly he didn't direct it... it does lack in scares and shocks but it can be jumpy at times. in fairness, its the concept really. the only thing actually scary about this is the story, other than that its quiet mild... a poor film which had the potenchal to be something better, well at least with three stars!
