I absolutely loved this movie when I first saw it years ago. If you watch it now in our digital age of wiz computers and ipods it seems slightly outdated but back when it first came out it was great.
Christian Slater as the geeky guy next door who just happens to become the much needed voice of his new home town by broadcasting a rebellious but eye opening pirate radio show from his basement. His refusal to comform almost sparks a high school revolution and Slater's performance is only surpassed by such future roles as 'True Romance' and 'Young Guns 2' ......Pump Up The Volume ' Classic Teen Movie'.
