Hm, you got a screencap of it? Can't really think of the person right now.

It was always a lingering question I had about The End of Time - just who was that guy, and if it Smith, is this something that will be mentioned again?

Hm, hair seems a little shorter than Smith's when we do actually see him in The End of Time.

And I'm always sceptical of these cool sounding theories - they never come true. I mean, where is Omega?

I'm sorry, but which one may or may not be Smith? The one covering his face?

Yeah - although for the record I don't personally believe that it is Smith.

Watched AGMGTW tonight - the God the army all worship - I presume that is someone we have yet to see?

See, this is my problem with the Moffat era. So many throwaway references to a bigger picture that aren't followed up. I mean, I would presume yes is the answer to that, and I remember some of the iconography in that episode suggesting Omega - but nothing has referred to it since.

Same with The Big Bang - did we ever discover who blew up the TARDIS? How and why? And whose was the voice?

Same goes for the Kennedy line. It could be a pointer to the future, it could never be commented upon again.

Someone recently asked him if we will find out more about that army in future episodes and the war they are referring to - Moffat confirmed it would be explored a bit more.

Moffat lies.

Anyway, I hope we do.

Personally, I am still annoyed that we haven't found out whose that voice was.

That looks like the most ridiculous show ever, I can only assume that it's a pisstake. I really wanted this to be Inspector Spacetime, especially when I saw how bonkers the cast looks.

It is a spoof on police procedural shows. It airs on Adult Swim in the US

Rewatched The Angels Take Manhattan yesterday. Its glaring plot holes, blatant disregard for the show's own internal logic and it's anticlimatic ending annoyed me even more. The Statue of Liberty being an angel is also really daft.

So, there's a Pointless Doctor Who special tonight at 7pm. It has Sylvester McCoy and Bernard Cribbins!

(only the contestants are Who related, its not a Who quiz)

They can't all be winners! But its no End of Time when it comes to those issues...

Pointless Dr Who about to start and I think the new preview short is on before (or after) it.

Problem is that the first half of series 6 was the last good batch of NuWho we've had. Everything since has gone from bad to worse. I can actually be more forgiving of End of Time because for all its faults (and there are many), it was at least engrossing when I first watched it AND it made an event of a departure unlike TATM. Amy and Rory deserved better. Especially the majority of the ongoing story threads from their tenure on the show have still yet to be resolved.

You know, Sarah Jane was just turfed out the Tardis - at the wrong place - and he buggerred off. None of these demands for full and detailed closure back then

That was alright. Smith is golden even in the weakest episodes and watching him interact with kids is always a joy to watch, but I saw the "twist" coming straight away.
