Invisio text just in case -

I love Strax.

So, is this out of linear sequence for them i.e. River Song?

Here is the prequel- click and the trailer- click

There are spoilers for episode 1 of series seven at the start of that trailer, just in case anyone hasn't seen it yet. I know some had been waiting for the dvds....

I can account for at least half of those views, just to look at the lovely Jenna-Louise.

You don't want to know how many views Room at the Top got...

Possible spoilers based on rumour followed by wild speculation
Over on Den of Geek there's an article saying that David Tennant is onboard for the 50th Anniversary. So if we assume that this is true and that it's just Tennant and knowing Moffat's obvious affection for Melody Pond... I reckon the Anniversary will be Smith overlapping Tennant and resolving the situation with River in the Library.

What do you reckon?

"Eh, what's that Chatterton, hmm? 49? I assure you dear boy, I'm at least four hundred and thirty seven!"

Happy Doctor Who Day, everyone.

How cool does the "new" Eighth Doctor look?

On the run from the Daleks in World War I, now ready to turn and face them in World War II.

I've never got into audio, but Dark Eyes looks tempting.

New costume:

McGann talks you through the reasoning in this month's Doctor Who Magazine...

Indiana Jones practical man bag and the McGann family naval history informing the purple leather maritime coat.

New sonic designed by WETA dontcha' know.

EDIT: The above picture is CLEARLY girl's couture that google images threw up to thwart me. Still...girl's inspired Doctor range, sexy as!

I agree

Here's a piece of trivia thrown up in this month's DWM.

Tom Baker is the longest serving Doctor.

But who held Who the longest without handover?

Paul McGann, with 9 years.

Yes, yes he should.

Eighth Doctor is brilliant, everyone should listen to the audios especially Eight because McGann is superb even if his companions are annoying every now and then.

I don't like it. Looks too similar to 9th's costume. I actually didn't mind the old 8th costume.

I genuinely, truly believe that Matt Smith quits, they should bring back McGann.

Him, or Michael Fassbender.

But lets face it, that ain't gonna happen.

A low-key confirmation from the BBC (as if it were needed ) of the 50th Anniversary Special is snuck in amongst talk of next year's commissions:

They're perhaps planning a regeneration story and getting the costume for the 'darker, angrier, doctorer, tragic-er' doctor sorted because PM's Doctor is about to start going through the things the character was reeling from at the time the TV show restarted? Prepping for a planned de-generation perhaps, in the 50th Anniversary to have a CE look-a-like momentarily glimpsed before time for the character's body is somehow rewound to PM's Doctor to get over a CE no show? PM's Doc de-aged with no knowledge of what he has yet to do in the time war to give different characterisations as much as possible for Multi-Doctor 50th Anniversary tale

Just goes to show, one photo = interminable speculative guff

Anyone who mentions ROTK mutliple endings can go away.

That was magnifcent.

My comment straight after the end of EOT PT2.

In my defense I was a total idiot in 2009.

The Christmas Special is on at 5.15pm, for those of you who didn't know. Predictably there's already a multi-page argument decrying the earlier slot on Dr Who Forum.
