wrenster I think these 2 offerings from Film 4 on Friday (tonight)... RUN FATBOY RUN 9pm **** David Schwimmer directs this likeable comedy with Simon Pegg as a man who cannot commit to anything, but in order to win his former fiancée back, he decides to run the London Marathon. The joy of this film is Pegg and his relaxed manner while the script does have some genuinely funny moments. It might not be the greatest comedy of all time, but one that will leave you smiling long after it has ended. RAISING ARIZONA 10.55pm **** If you want a great Nicolas Cage movie, then look no further. This Coen Brothers gem about a childless couple who steal one of quintuplets, and then pay the consequents is a bizarre, hilarious comedy with that Coen flair. Holly Hunter is great as Cage's wife, the law enforcer who turns bad because of love. Lots of strange characters, great visuals and a fine line in darkly funny humour. Terrific. ...are the first in the Pegg/Frost Paul promotion related, comedy films weekend where they are providing intros to some of the films and being interviewed about Paul etc. Raising Arizona is superb fun. EDIT: No it actually starts with Meet Dave at 7:05pm (I can't imagine Nick and Simon are going to be that complimentary about this one so might be fun to watch their intro...)
