Still Hoodman, although not as much as it was 6 years ago. Now it's just Hood.

I only get called Hoodie on here

 Hooch.

It stems from my first day at my first proper job. Was wearing a bright orange shirt and that it bears some similarity to my surname they decided to name me after an Alcopop and it stuck.

when I lived in Manchester for a year (96/97) I spent a night growling (anyone else remember Breaker Lager?) and so it stuck. I now have the Ursa sobriquet in my email addy.
I am rather cuddly though....

I was discussing the alcopop with someone four or five years younger than me the other day, but they had no idea what I was talking about - does it still exist?

 Dunno if it's still around now. I remember that was all I wanted to drink when I was 16. That and Bud Ice... I tried some Bud Ice a year or two back and it was like being a teenager again. It was horrible. (The memory, not the drink.) (Thought that too.)

It kinda proves that maybe there was something in the whole "it's marketed at kids" thing.

It's a different class of kids these days. I was talking to the 15 yr old daughter of a friend who said that she didn't drink really, but was partial to a G&T. A different class of kids, I tell ya.

No, we were talking. At coffee. AT CHURCH. And in passing conversation alcohol was mentioned.

Also, you youths with your hip lingo, I assume your use of "siiiick" means you somehow approve of offering underage girls alcoholic beverages, of which you thought I was guilty. Which, I'll be frank, disgusts me, Rhubarb. I am shocked. Shocked and appalled.
