Might have to play my wildcard so early in the season but Mascherano, Baptista, Tevez might just be too tempting............

You can use the wildcard only once. Basically it gives you the chance to make as many transfers as you want for that gameweek without being penilised.

Yeah, you're not alone in that decision. Can we use this wildcard now?

You can use it anytime you want, but only use it when you want to make wholesale changes. If your just planning on swapping one or two then I'd advise taking the penalty and not using your wildcard. -4pnts for every transfer over your free one per week.

To use you wildcard, just make the transfers, confirm your team and it'll bring up a screen asking if you want to take the points penalty or use your wildcard.

10th at the moment. I hadn't checked the league for ages (been on holiday).

Oh, fucking knob it. Since Chimbonda went to Spurs, I've had one too many Tottenham players. I was looking at transfers last night, but I didn't want to have points deducted from my total, so I waited until this Gameweek started. Half an hour ago: Jenas for Cahill, Cahill then scores against Liverpool, but he's not able to win any points for my team until next Gameweek.

2-0 up now, thanks to Johnson. Oh well, as long as they kick the shit out of Liverpool, I'm happy.

15 provisional so far, got Van Der Sar , O'Shea (both already have a point though), Lennon, and Defoe playing in 10 minutes. Hopefully Defoe, anyway.

Up to 29 now. Hopefully tomorrow, Ferdinand, Reo-Coker and Zamora can score four hat-tricks each. It could happen.

62 points provisionally!
I think that's the highestso far this gameweek, although we still have tomorrow's and Monday's match to go. Moved up from 12th to 7th.
Did anyone have Brad Friedel in their team this week? The bloke got 21 points! If you had him as your captain you would have netted 42 points from one player!!

Oh Good God! I've dropped so many places! Got a poor 17 points this week. But i've got 3 West Ham players on the team, so hopefully they can bring me back up.

Could be worse.  You could have just transferred in Jimmy Bullard!

Only cos he was playing BRILLIANTLY, and I do hope he's back to playing this season.  Terrible injury.

I'm top of the league!!

What a great decision is was for me to swap Andy Johnson for Jason Roberts.

Injuries are screwing me big time.

First Ashton, with Baros, Carrick, Berbatov, Carragher and now Lennon.

Mother fucker.

Did you play your wild card when you bought Tevez & Mascherano?

You'd probably get some assists from Mascherano. I don't think he scores much. And obviously goals from Tevez.

Shitty week. I could be a lot nearer the top if I hadn't left Francis of watford on the bench for the first few weeks, then Bocanegra yesterday! Also having Gamst-Pedersen, Yakubu and Shevchenko doing nothing for weeks on end doesnt help. Then Lennon goes and gets injured! And Reina keeps letting me down as well. Fuck knows how I've managed to get 150 od points.
Can't wait for next transfer window.

Dammit all!  I change Giggs for Bullard and them dirty Celtic players boot him into injury.  Bandit!

And then today I play cautious and left Primus on the bench as I felt is was too big a risk to play two Pompy defenders and the bandit goes and scores 8 points.  You'd better do something King!

Can feel my lead on this league slowly slipping away.

Bollocks. I really need to remember to manage the team. I forgot to put Cahill in the starting squad today and he got the assist for Johnson.

Holy Crap! 2 Points this week. That's probably because nearly all of my players are performing tomorrow...but still! 2 Points!

Oh, that's fantastic. The only team in the Empire league with zero points from today's matches. Down to 25.

Ah well, i think your low points are justified, since not one of you players actually played today. Only one of my guys was on the pitch, so i'm hoping for the other 10 to score big tomorrow!

Well, Cahill played today, and got an assist, but I forgot to play him. Luckily, I've got a shitload playing tomorrow. Hopefully Chelsea annihilate Liverpool (Alonso is collateral damage as far as I'm concerned), Man Utd slaughter Arsenal, West Ham dominate, and Spurs win.

Yup, i'm hoping for the exact same results. As much as it kills me to root for Spurs.

Meh, the entire side of my Dad's family support Spurs, and I was raised a Spurs supporter before I went to Man Utd, finally settling on West Ham. So I find it easy to be behind them. Although I don't want West Ham to go too hard on Newcastle tomorrow. I know Glenn and he probably doesn't need a 5-0 defeat this early in the season, as tempting as one may sound.
