I share your pain. Suarez was in, then not, then in, then not, then defo not. Who starts? Yep, Luis. And then Kelly didn't start! How can you play Flannagan over Kelly? Kenny you're a dork! And to not start with our most important player, Dirky Dirk Dirk?? Great. Not only fuck up my team, but also my fantasy team. Way to go Kenny. Everyone else I picked either got yellow or red cards or let in 2 goals or more. I must be in minus points. Ugggggggggg

40 points and a City player in for tonight, and that's with Rafaele and Luiz not playing! Rafaele out, Smalling in...

Oh how I hate having 2 teams (a work one and one for here), I was about to gloat that Silva Dzeko and Aguero just did the business for me, but no - I've got to wait till the morning to gloat at work instead

A sub-par 49 points for the opening weekend. Boy am I glad I left Aguero on the bench because he was rated doubtful

33 points for week 1. Might have something to do with the 3 Spurs players I have in my midfield....

Not bad, 62 points and joint 4th place with Taggio's twits.

Who decides the bonus points? I rarely agree with them. Maybe I'm just sour because Silva was my captain and he got no bonus but I thought he was great.

WHY DID I GET RID OF AGUERO!?!?!?!? I'm a jackass but at least Silva and Kompany picked up some points, before the game I was on zero after I transferred half my team and they netted me 33 points.

Hmm, turns out this morning that I've finished the weekend with a rather healthier 61 points. Not sure why the difference between last night and today, but I'll take it that's for sure.

Think I'll make Aguero captain...

So how many people have already messed their team around and taken a points deduction to fit Aguero in?

I'm thinking I might leave it for one week but then I risk his price rapidly rising. What to do?!

I'm leaving Van Persie in for one more game and if he doesn't get a goal, that's it, he's being straight swapped for Aguero

As soon as his second goal screamed in last night my brother was online trying to find a way to fit him in his team

I'm glad I rearranged my team the other week to fit him and Silva in, they looked like they could be causing teams all sorts of problems together.

Damn you Luis Suarez! Seducing me with your footwork.

Well, I got 49 points for the week.  Not too bad, never thought I say it but thank god for Wayne Rooney.  Puts me at the top of my work league (of about 6, mind) and mid table in another - it'll be fun to see how I fare against the Empire hardcore!

Not sure if I'll make much in the way of changes this week.  Might think about swapping Carrol for Suarez, wondering if I picked the wrong new Liverpool striker (but then he was great at Newcastle so maybe I'll leave it a week or two).  Should probably think about adding in another Man City player at some point but think I'll hold off and look out for whoever emerges as the cheap, point winning workhorses!

I'm a bit wary of switching to the popular 'big scorers' too readily - last year I managed to plump for Rooney and Drogba, both of them right before they hit the skids!

Wildcard time!!!

Seriously, I just auto-filled the team and then couldn't get in at all on Saturday to change to my proper team while unlimited subs were available.
I still managed 48 points but there was no way I was sticking with that team until January. So used 1 of my 2 wildcards and here you go:

Yeah, it's unlimited transfers up to the 20th to make up for the opening day website crash. I've taken advantage of it by making a bold (and possibly incredibly foolish) move of getting rid of the awesome but increasingly injury-prone Vidic in order to boost the overall strength of the team. Cahill brought in as his replacement (though I think I'll be leaving him out of the side against Citeh at the weekend ), and replacing my frankly shit bargain bin subs by bringing in Johnny Evans and Jarvo. If there's one thing this weekend showed me, it's the importance of strength in depth.

Perhaps I can afford to make some changes then!  Might try and spread the wealth a bit across the midfield.  Yeah, Vidic's a bit of a dilemma really...

It says on my page that the wildcard is unavailable at the moment. Did you get in and use the wildcard before they announced the free transfers? I'd be livid.

EDIT: Ah, I see now they're restoring all wildcards and deducted points.

54points after week 1. I've made a few tweaks, mainly just on the bench as I had a keeper I've never heard of ( now Begovic ) and 3 Newcastle players. Also replaced Bent up front with Suarez.

One of the other things on offer is

3. Win a VIP trip to watch Man Utd v Chelsea

How is that to make up for the crash? Would be my worst nightmare

Decided to swap out RvP, I hope he doesn't make me live to regret it. I've taken advantage of the free transfers by making about six changes!

I've made 8 changes in total after saying I was going to leave it.

I shan't post my team however for fear of sneaky copycats.
