Well I won't be surging into an early lead this weekend. Five of my players are injured or rated doubtful, and two of them won't be playing due to Spurs v Everton being postponed

I'm with Mancini - I think I need a bigger squad to push for the title.

You have until half 11 tomorrow to make as many transfers as you like no? Get rid of the dead wood. I've changed my team about 100 times over the past two weeks and I'm still not 100% happy.

Yeah you've still got time to change it. I've just dumped Samba out the squad as I'd thought he'd would have left Blackburn by now.

Thing is, I'm happy with the personnel I've picked - I doubt I'm going to be able to put a better team (on paper anyway) together without looking into a crystal ball. It's just unfortunate that they've all started the season like it's bloody February.

Too many Arsenal Players.

I'm going to have to start from scratch again, really not happy. I've gone from having too much money spent in one area of the pitch, leaving others slightly weak to being spread too thin overall. I don't really have any of the top expensive players. Ah the fantasy football stress begins again.

the site was gubbed for a good 24 hours. Stuck with a team I chose last week before none of my expected transfer activity took place!

Anyway - still time to join the prediction league:

Finally got into the shitty website and added myslef to the Empire league!  Team is called "Haven't a Kalou"and my starting team is:

Not sure if it's a particularly amazing team - I'm more a fan of fantasy football than football itself so my knowledge beyond the less well know players is fairly limited!  I had a pretty good team by the end of last season but unfortunately a lot of my good 'uns have joined bigger teams and now cost more so having to take some chances!

Anyone know when the table is going up? I can't even see other people's teams on the website 22pts from seven players (Y U MISS PENALTY SUAREZ). Providing Chelsea don't give Stoke a pasting tomorrow (unless said pasting leads to McEachran scoring a hat trick or something) and Utd keep a clean sheet, I'll hopefully be doing better.

Well, I'm glad Wayne Pooney has scored, had him as my captain so it might make up for the rest of my players being a bunch of damp squibs this first week.

Well, I couldn't get onto the website yesterday morning to finalise my team so from the weekend fixtures I got a grand total of 15 points.

Ah sir, but you did have an initial choice of players who didn't perform for you, so, er, it's still all your fault

Not really, I had it sorted on Wednesday, got bored. Clicked auto-fill then forgot about it.

I did the same last year so...theres something wrong with my brain obviously but for now I'll blame the website.

an approximation of my reaction to Vidic winning me two points as this week's captain, after switching to him from Suarez cos I wasn't sure if Suarez would be playing

at least Huth got me a few. mon Yaya Toure.

I've still got three Man City players to go. So I'd appreaciate an Aguero hattrick and a clean sheet for Clichy and Kompany.

Well Cahill picked me up 11 points with a clean sheet and a goal!!! He was a last minute change for Samba.

I dropped Suarez as I'd thought he be unfit and what do I see while standing in the Kop on Saturday? Suarez running out Bugger!!!

Pretty bad start for me so far. My defence seemed to have done the best with Cahill, Hughes and Given all doing well. I'm on 41 at the mo with just Silva playing tonight as Captain so he's clearly going to come off after a minute played.
