 27 points for me too, I didn't realise Kuyt hadn't got clearance to play today, but by the time I went to sub him I'd missed the deadline (and I was also going to change Johnson to my captain at the same time)

 Bloody hell, I wanted to replace Ashton with another WH striker. I went and got Harewood. 3 West Ham goals and not one from him.

Piss it. 11 (provisional) points, I've got a lot to learn here. I probably should have read the rules... I mean, I had Terry as captain today, for Christ's sake! I thought it meant all changes to your starting squad had to be made before the Gameweek began. But still, it's no excuse.

I take it subs are folk you can bring in for differing ko times, or Sunday games, and don't get any points for warming your bench. Is this correct?

Basically you've got to check which matches are included in that certain gameweek. If some of your starting eleven are in a team not playing then sub them for that gameweek because you're only allowed one transfer between each week. That's the way I see it anyway.

For example Arsenal in Game week 2, they're not included. Thought I'd take out Fabregas, Toure and Lehmann and bring on three of my subs that teams are playing. But........My sub goalkeeper is Pollit of Wigan, also De Zeew and Heskey. Wigan aren't playing so I'm fucked...............just my luck!

I know, I've already stated I made a mistake. There are only 8 matches in Gameweek 2 though, that's what threw me. You can have three, I've got Lehmann, Fabregas and Toure. Shevchenko, Makelele and Lampard.

Makelele's an interesting choice for fantasy football. I'll take my Cech, Terry (how many goals are they going to concede?) and Lampard.
