He is amazing in Arkham Asylum & City. I couldn't believe it when I found out it was him.

Not sure how unpopular this is, but as good as Heath Ledgers is as the Joker, Mark Hamill is the best Joker, it's just a shame he hasn't actually featured as him in any films. If they were to continue the Nolanverse in anyway I'd like to see Mark Hamill as OAP Joker driven even more insane from 30+ years in Arkham Asylum!

Well, it sure ain't unpopular with me

The Hunger Games is one of the best films from the last decade.

Can you please expand on this, genuinely interested in your reasoning as I thought it one of the worst recent high profile films I've seen (and it's not short of competition on that front).

Gladiator has some truly cringe making moments in it. One such when (SPOILERS JUST IN CASE)

When Maximus dies and the freed prisoners and senator all step forward through the Praetorian in one movement is so clichéd and hackneyed as is the big speech whatsername (daughter of Octavius) gives just after.

I think it plays very well given the genre. The music by Hans Zimmer and Connie Nielsens performance are so good that it ends the film beautifully in my opinion.

I love Gladiator but I can't help but agree with this. Especially the speech.

Orlando Bloom does a good job in Kingdom of Heaven. He's no where near the best thing in what is a great film (director's cut), but he doesn't deserve to be accused of ruining it. The scene in which he's attacked by 3 Templars while resting under a tree is better than any fight scene in Bourne 2 or 3 (I haven't seen 1 or 4). Primary credit for that goes to the director and other technicians, but he does his part well.

I notice the bits which i really do not like are the last minute alterations added when they ran out of money.

Another vote for not liking HUNGER GAMES... it bored me senseless. Great reviews all around but I couldn't wait to get out of there. I even tried to watch it again on Netflix the other night, but I got about 20 minutes in and, again, thought 'nah'..

Really not getting the love for this film...

I enjoyed The Hunger Games enough*. Battle Royale is better, but I thought it was well written, well acted and generally quite gripping, although strangely I've skipped over it on Netflix several times, even though I know I like it. It might just be my brain subconsciously reminding me how much of a headache the shaky cam towards the end gave me.

On a different note, and after much deliberation, I've decided that The Last Crusade is the best Indy film. Perhaps not as unpopular as saying Temple is, but generally Raiders is thought of as the best.

*In no small part due to getting to watch J Lawrence for two hours.

I definitely think Raiders is the best, but Crusade is awesome. I know a couple of people why prefer it.

When it comes to Indiana Jones, for me it goes...

Some of the best films ever...
1) Last Crusade
2) Raiders

Not great, and with some problems, but not as bad as everyone says...
3) Crystal Skull

Absolutely fucking awful, and I have no idea why it gets so much love...
4) Temple Of Doom

I really enjoyed the hunger games a lot it.

As for Indiana Jones for me it's

1. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark
3. Indiana jones and the Temple of Doom
4. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (It's fine up till the silly Alien stuff)

I liked Hunger Games except for the awful shakycam and editing.

Indy Jones?

1/ Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom [easily the best imo]
2/ Raiders Of The Lost Ark
3/ Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade [used to love it, but more and more just seems like a tame rehash of Raiders]
4/ Need I say?

I used to be a big Crusade fan, but these days despite being really good you can see all the backtracking to Raiders after the Temple of Doom backlash. The original three are classics but I'd say they get worse in order of release. "4" doesn't get worse with the alien stuff because it's never good to start with.

Nothing unpopular about a bit of Orlando bashing, he's an awful actor.

He's alright in the director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven though.

I think he's alright in the first film but he starts to grate from the 2nd film onwards culminating in the by now infamous "a diversion" scene in the 3rd film. He does a passable job I guess but imagine how much better the films could have been with a talented actor in the role.

WHAT!!!!!! seriously!.... he runs alot, gets to the top, smells a fart and then says something obvious like " there was Orcs here!" while standing next to a spear with an Orcs head on it!!
