It boggles my mind how anyone can say a virtual remake and a sequel in name (and star) only can be better than one of the best action movies ever made!

Well at least TimeCop doesn't pretend it is highly original when it isn't and begin a totally random telekensis subplot two thirds of the way through

 I have just watched Lesbian Vampire Killers which I missed on release - while it is certainly no classic, I really quite enjoyed it !
Okay, I had consumed a small beer and I was a little tired, but for a cheesy late night laugh, it's actually alright

I really like Die Hard 2 but it is no way better than the original. None. If anything, it shows more of the faults of basic premise. It's just a poor, albeit entertaining, imitation of an action classic.

But what makes you think Looper was trying to be highly original? For me it is a nice twist on a number of older ideas, but apart from that is just very good filmmaking from a good director and very good cast.

Neither does Looper, really, the TK is established at the start. I admit it could have been done better but it's still there at beginning of the film.

I really dislike Inception, initially I thought from the trailers and given the director I couldn't fail not to like it, when in fact it was bore fest which played to heavily on a confusing concept of dreams within dreams, certainly not a Matrix beater I was hoping for.

My unpopular Inception opinion would be that snowmobile chases are fucking boring so Inception manages to combine one of the best action sequences (JGL's weightless fight) with the most yawnsome (snowmobile).

I've seen the movie one and a half times (once in the cinema and part way through on DVD) and it's amazing that I cannot remember anything about the movie except what's on the trailer and it involved dreams within dreams. It was that memorable that I can't remember a thing about except something about dreams within dreams which kept my attention for about 2 minutes, same can be said for Sweeny Todd but I only watched about 1 hour of that on DVD.

To sum up, Snaze while Termintor 2 is good I still find it a bit overated, and no its not the best in the series.

And yes not everything in Inception works, but enough does to make it a compelling watch.

I need to see these films again to confirm my theory, but I suspect teenage mutant turtles the movie has aged better the batman....

Yeah I need to re-watch it. All I can remember about the snowmobile scene was wishing they'd get out of the way and show the weightless fight.
