I actually liked the twilight films.

i think the rock is a terrible actor.

indie films are great.

michael bay is awful.

cheezy movies are fun.

music makes a scene.

despite the fact that i'm canadian i think the UK has better television programming than canada or the US.

i have zero interest in reading 50 shades of gray.

sean penn is an underated director.

i'm really tired hearing about zero dark thirty and jessica chastaine.

i'm only going to watch the oscars because jennifer lawrence is nominated.

To be honest I am not sure any of those can be considered UO's.

The Thin Red Line is Malick's best film, and is better than Saving Private Ryan.

Would say Badlands is his best film, but certainly Red Line is better than Ryan's Privates, sorry!

Quoted for truth. Near enough ruined a decent hour-and-a-half war flick...

I detest your opinions.

Paths of Glory says everything that The Thin Red Line has to say but wraps it up in a tight 83 minutes. It's funny as well - Nick Nolte is not near enough as bonkers as George MacReady!

Anyway, at least TTRL is not The Deer Hunter...

I repeat, I detest your opinion. Oh and on Les Miserables, I think Crowe came closr to giving an incredible performance (he gets the physical part perfectly, from the way Javert walks to his expressions) if it wasn't that somebody told him singing was a good idea.

Im not sure how unpopular this is going to be....

Days of Thunder, despite being pretty much the same story as Top Gun, is far more enjoyable. Caught it last night, and while Top Gun has some appeal, DOT smashes it!

Top Gun has music by Harold Faltermeyer. It wins.

I like Death Proof. There...I said it.

Whilst it may be Tarantino's worst film, it's still better than 90% of other films. It has a cool antagonist in Kurt Russell's Stuntman Mike, awesome cars and and one the best chase scenes ever committed to film. Plus it introduced a more mainstream audience to Zoe Bell who is just awesome!

Yay! Someone else who doesn't hate it!

I agree it is his worst film, but there's still plenty in there to enjoy.

Zero Dark Thirty is a solid film at best, and absolutely nothing more than that. Chastain was decent but did nothing to deserve to win an award for it.

INLAND EMPIRE is the best film of the 2000's.

Your close Mulholland Drive is

It's a hipster in film form; look at me I'm so different. All it needs is a stupid looking hat and scarf.

I find there is no middle ground for Mulholland Drive. A lot love it, and a few (myself included) loathe it with a passion.

Not a huge fan of Mulholland Drive but the shitty trampface behind the skip outside the diner scene is one of the most suspenseful in cinema history.

I really enjoyed both of the Jurassic Park sequels.
I have no interest in watching any of Nolan's Batman films.
2012 was brilliant.
Jackie Brown is Quentin Tarantino's best film, though admittedly I haven't seen Django Unchained yet.
D2: The Mighty Ducks is better than the original.

Really? I always thought Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, and possibly even Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds, were all rated more highly than Jackie Brown.

Dredd was complete crap. It ALL took place in a soulless, cheap building/set with Lena Headey as the villain. Where was Mega City? Batman takes place in Gotham City not the post office.
