This should be fun:

- Unbreakable is THE greatest Superhero movie ever made.

- The Lord of The Rings Trilogy is extremely over-rated. I found it to be a good, enjoyable film, nothing more.

- Madagascar was more entertaining than Finding Nemo and The Incredibles.

- Jurassic Park was the greatest film of the 90's and one of the greatest films in cinema history.

- Closer was "SO" bad. I don't usually call a film just plain bad...but wow!

- Both Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt are extremely talented actors.

- Green Street was an incredible film, and Eijah Wood did a fantastic job in presenting himself as quite a "hard nut" near to the end of the film.

- Edward Norton is the Greatest Actor of All Time! I know, i should consider the performances of Pacino, De Niro, Brando etc, but i won't hold it back anymore. He really is the best!

After that crazy comment, i think i'll stick with the Thread! Visually, those films were more impressive, but from an entertainment perspective? No Way! Although overall, Pixar still comes up on top. I mean, they did produce the greatest animated film of all time: Toy Story. Now that can't be an unpopular opinion.

Agreed on the above counts, however i would say buffy was always good, but in seaqson 2 and 3 it was excellent, so it was only excellent for the first three years, and while it did go steadily downhill, twasnt into absolute shite (well, riley aside)

Charlies Angels and Charlies Angels Full Throttle are funny, entertaining films.

The Matrix sequels are decent enough (but too much action IMO)

Cameron Crowe has made only one good film.

Spielberg needs a better editor (to tell him when his films have outstayed their welcome).

I really couldn't disagree more. I did enjoy Madagascar. The film looked great, just as visually impressive as most other animated films, and nearly as fun. But Madagascar fails, and fails hugely, when it comes to story line and character.

It has no story line. The animals crash onto the island. Then what? It was just a lot of jokes strung together through a weak plot. The film just seems empty when comparing it to Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. Nemo and Incredibles have heart, something painfully missing from Madagascar. They have great story lines, while still containing just as many jokes as Madagascar. They have characters you can care about. I can't even remember any of the character names in Madagascar, I just remember the celebrity who voiced them. They also contain set pieces as thrilling as any Hollywood blockbusters. All these features make Finding Nemo and The Incredibles much more entertaining then just the jokes in Madagascar.

So yes, post in my thread... please?

My unpopular opinions:

Black Hawk Down is un-comprehendably boring.
Thundercats: The Movie is a very bad idea.
Spiderman is the most over-rated film I've ever seen.
Tommy Lee Jones was good in Batman Forever.
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is absolute genius.

And I don't know how these two opinions would be recieved:

The 80s is the best decade for films.
To End All Wars is the third greatest movie of all time, falling behind The Thing and Batman Begins.

Spiderman is a far superior film to any of the Batman movies even though Begins was brilliant.

Pacino and DeNiro aren't fit to polish Jack Nicholson's shoes.
Titanic wasn't that good. A Night to Remember is a far better flick.
James Bond movies aren't as good as the English people like to think.
Revenge of the Sith was the best movie of 2005.
Bruce Campbell has far more talent than his carrer suggests.

The Lord Of The Rings films are the best films I've ever seen.

Marlon Brando was very good in just 3 films - Guys & Dolls, A Streetcar Named Desire and On The Waterfront, and in the latter he gave the weakest of the main performances.

Nosrefatu and Metropolis may be influential, but by God are they mindnumbing to watch.

Monsters Inc is the best animated film of all time. Followed by The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in liking films such as Van Helsing, Pearl harbor, Gigli, Hide Seek, Pluto Nash and The Pacifier etc

No film should be considered so great that it's "a crime", "unthinkable" or "just plain wrong" to see it remade. Remakes are fair game.

The Aviator is the best of Martin Scorcese's many great films.

The Shining is by far the worst film by Stanley Kubrick.

Vertigo is a good film, but is probably the weakest of Hitchcocks major films.

As great as Chaplin was, Laurel & Hardy films are so much better. They are also far better than the Marx Brothers.

Humphey Bogart did deserve his Oscar for The African Queen.

Marlon Brando didn't deserve his Oscar for The Godfather.

Batman Returns is better than Batman, Alien is better than Aliens, and both Terminator 3 and The Godfather 3 are the most entertaining of their respective trilogies.

There are probably many more, but that will do for now.

Agreed. Overall The Godfather is very overrated.

Toy Story is the best CGI film ever made.

A Beautiful Mind was a great film, and did deserves its Oscars.
