easy Attack is the worst. Poor acting, Awful script and just GCI overload.

 Trying to decide whether AOTC or TPM is the worse film is like trying to decide if you prefer to be punched in the testicles by a particularly pissed off Gorilla or being stabbed in the eye by a shit encrusted fork.

I disagree.

The opening 15 mins of ROTS are good, as are the last 15 mins with the exception of that line.

MacDiarmiad's performance is excellent and even Sam Jackson is ok Christensen is decent in parts as is EMG.

Order 66 is well realised and it's much better paced than the first two.

The score is also great.

Are you drunk?..."Proved the point"?....I never disagreed with anyone who had a problem with the prequels !, they are a mess. However ROTS is IMO the best of the three by miles and is the only film which sits easily with the OT.

That wasn't my argument, I was just pointing out that you fell into the trap that snares many prequel fanboys (not saying you are one), i.e, highlighting all the sparse "good bits" and not making clear that the film as a whole doesn't work.

Regarding the use of Ewoks instead of the originally intended Wookies in ROTJ I suppose you only have to look at the fake CGI fest that was the battle on Kashyyk that looked a computer throwing up in ROTS in 2005 to see how really bad things could have been if they went with wookies 20 years before that in Jedi

Two easy decisions made by Lucas - 1) easier to find lots of children and smaller people than lots of tall people plus 2) Far greater merchandise opportunities with cuddly bears and Lucas does like to worship at the fountain of the $$.

That's a good point actually. When you stop and consider the prequels it's staggering how useless and incompetent the Jedi are. Guardians of peace and justice my arse, bunch of clowns more like.

 Ok, so I was one of those children grown up with the original Star Wars movies and have loved them and watched them again and again over the years. But I am so sick of hearing annoying geeks moan about the prequels, they are not bad films! AOTC is actually a very enjoyable entry, ok some of the scenes with Anikin and Padme are a bit cringe worhty, and there are some very impressive set pieces here including a very enjoyable jedi arena battle and Yoda showing us his light saber skills. In my opinion, if you don't like the prequels you are not a true fan!

This does contain more of what made the original Star Wars fun and is an improvement over The Phantom Menace, but this film is still riddled with problems.

The few things I like in this movie are as follows: John Williams still does great work; Christopher Lee is awesome no matter how crap his lines are; I like how Ewan McGregor isn't completely discarded for most of the movie; and I really like the fight between Obi-Wan and Jango on the landing pad, not to mention the chase through the asteroid field.

Now that may sound like a lot, but it really isn't. Everything else is truly unbearable. I won't go into detail because it would take up the vast majority of this thread and, let's face it, nobody will pick these movies apart more entertainingly than the redlettermedia reviews.
