Ripley: "I believe Cpl Hicks has authority here!"
Burke: "Cpl Hicks?"
Rilpey: "This operation is under military jurisdiction, and Hicks is next in command, right?
Hicks: "Yeah, thats right!"
Burke: "Look, this is a multi-million dollar operation. He's cant make that kinda decision, he's just a grunt! No Offence!"
Hicks: "None taken! Ferro, prep for dust off, we're gonna need immediate evac. I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."

I'd have shot Carter Burke the first time I saw him, wearing his collar up like that!

For those interested, we've tracked down Ricco Ross (Pvt Frost)'s email and are emailing him questions.

Why you may ask? Well his turn in Octopus The Movie has earned him the title of B-Movie star of the day.

Pay homage.

I'm not sure if I ever posted this here, put ages in the SA3 thread, I got bored at work and started emailing (yep!) D-movie stars for quick Q&As and I found Frost's email on imdb!

Hence this;

And B-Movie star of the Day is Ricco Ross.

Pay homage, punny mortals. Not only has the man fought Aliens and a giant Octopus but he worked with the legend that is James Cameron

Riccoross@aol.com

Have emailed the man himself and here's hoping we get a response.

Dear Ricco,

Everyone knows you as Frost from Aliens but last night I was watching the film Octopus and lo and behold there you were!

My friends and I were overjoyed to see you once again taking on monsters but were saddened to see you unfortunatly bite the dust at the end. Still, it's not every day you go mano a mano with a giant Octopus is it?

After watching the film, I was struck by several questions that I was hoping you could help me with.

1) Why the hell is Octopus trying to be a spy film? Surely it should be ALL about a killer Octopus?

2) Did you really get naked for that strip poker scene?

3) Is James Cameron really as difficult as legend has it?

4) Any chance you're going to be Avatar?

5) Was Frost's Artucrian poontang really a guy?!

Anyway, I'm part of a Creature Feature Fan Club based on Empire's (UK Movie Magazine) forum and we'd love it if you could pop in a say a few words on your Octopus experiences.

http://www.empireonline.com/forum/tm.asp?m=1139&mpage=97

Rest assured, you can use harsh language.

Thanks in advance

Ti Singh

And I did get a reply!

Hey Ti,

lol, very funny questions, made me laugh.

1    Good question and I really don't know the answer to that one however I can say that the script was work in progress even as we were shooting it.

2    I wasn't suppose to until one of the guys grabbed my shorts and pulled. So the reactions u saw were real lol.

3    James is a perfectionist and that is why his films r so good. He can be an ass on set, but usually when he was is it is deserving. He knows the film business from top to bottom, so when someone is coming up short, he knows it. Still, off the set he is the coolest guy u want to meet.

4    I don't think so but I would love to. Just finished another monster film called Hydra think it will be out in about 8 months.

5    To be honest James allowed us to improvise during that scene and in our minds Artuctians male or female had very little difference at times. Also when marines get drunk caution goes to the wind.

Tried to got to ur site but didn't work. Hope this helps, nice talking to u. My web sit is Riccoross.com. u can check out some other films that I've done.

Best to u all, and remember "Don't eat the corn bread"

That is awesome!

Ripley: These people are here to protect you. They're soldiers.
Newt: It won't make any difference.

What a nice guy. Too bad he couldn't get onto the site.

I love Aliens so much. It's the film I always turn on when I'm feeling down. Some people like to watch Tim Robbins crawl through a sewerage pipe, I like to see Sigourney Weaver blow the s**t out of xenomorphs!

"Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?"
"No. Have you?"

Bill Paxton genuinely looks like he's filled his shorts in that scene!
