Well not exactly a film, more of a short... maybe just hot-pants but either way, here's a silly little animation i made which took two days to film at college (nsad, 2nd year animation) and uses mostly cardboard for sets and noises.

A Garden Called Panic

Being, my film made for a film competition by an author called Kevin Brooks- the question "What does being human mean to me?" was the set topic, and I thought that could only lead to pretention, so I made something short and silly instead, complete with my "Oscar speech" at the end.

Hello james, I posted the link to my film ages ago but didn't give any details! It's a drama about a drug addicts life called Disconnected and I made it at uni. Anyway would be great to be added to the list and maybe see what people think about it.

heres the link again: http://one.revver.com/watch/257931

THE CENSOR IS BACK!!

Yes, after 6 months in the wilderness, The-Greatest-Short-Film-Made-For-Less-Than-Twenty-Quid returns triumphant to the interweb!  It's now on youtube, home of grizzly real-life decapitions and suicide notes left by gun-toting teens.

Just when you thought it was safe to let your hair down, THE CENSOR is here to remind us of good old-fashioned British values like good manners, sexual repression and COLD-BLOODED MURDER.

LEO SKELLY stars as CEDRIC, an officious drone of the BBFC who injects the rules of film censorship into the real world... with the help of his razor-sharp editing scissors. Snip Snip!

Written and directed by award-winning scouse filmjockey Graham Hughes, THE CENSOR is a lively and vivacious black comedy, made all the more remarkable by the fact it was put together for less than 20.

And yes, myspace did delete it. The humourless bastards.

Here's the first film I made, 14a: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEVzHAwRHZ0

I did it really for camera and editing practise, making up the scenes and story as we went along based on a very loose idea we'd discussed. I got a friend to add some music to it and the end result is something I'm quite proud of. I posted it on the messageboards on Joseph Gordon-Levitt's website and he replied personally, stating he liked it.

This was over a year ago, and I've had more ideas on developing the story yet since I've left uni and not had the equipment to do it.

Could you add my short to the list? It's called 'Stiletto' and was made with funding from Waltham Forest's Hitchcock Production Fund and elsewhere.

I've just finished putting together a website with information about the production:
http://www.stilettofilm.co.uk

The YouTube trailer can be viewed here:

Please do look at them, and let me know what you think.

Kind regards

Hi, I'm actually an actor rather than the director or producer, but hope its ok for me to put a lik up to a short I was in (especially with so many filmakers using this forum who might be talent spotting!). So the film Nightwatchman, directed by James Hyde and starring Greg Chapman (ie, me) can be seen at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6zLq_A8eA5U.

Cheers,

Greg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWDcOMgv8c4 is a film I just completed with a few friends of mine. I'm the director (hurrah!) and this was a little test to see what we could do with me behind camera instead of in front. Went rather well, i'm inclined to believe!

Got a few pieces of my own work to shamelessly plug too...

Here's 3 films that I made for my college course last year. They're extremely low on production values plus the focus & lighting can be a bit dodgy in places. But anyhoo, let me know what you guys think & be kind...

The Crying Robot   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKU-3xj0I1s

Jack & Jill     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLQUXWbUeKQ&feature=channel_page

I'm a Teenage Girl...Get Me Out Of Here!!!    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-qz-y6J07I&feature=channel

I also did these 2, but they are for comedic value (to me anyway) only & no way in hell do they represent my artistic abilities or intentions...

Munchkin Goes To Sainsburys   (recorded on a digital camera) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmK1EM5wagU&feature=channel

Christmas With Munchkin   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrAxCPg_dN4&feature=channel

Hi there

I just recieved a slap on the wrist for Bumping my thread back up to showcase a music video I made.
If i'd read this thread first, I wouldn't have bothered.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jaAyF4T8uk

This link if for a music video, I hope thats okay.
I've been messing around with Green Screen and would like some feedback on how it looks.

Oh, also, I have just re-edited 2 old films I shot as a kid.
You might get some enjoyment out of them.

Thanks, I hope you enjoy them

Wish I had noticed this earlier, could've avoided accusations of video spamming....

NAZI ZOMBIES 3D is a trailer for the greatest Grindhouse film never made.

I hope you enjoy it, and anyone who wants to point out historical innacuracies is more than welcome to watch the end of Inlglorious Basterds and take it up with Tarantino.

Enjoy!

Yo

Been playing around with lighting whilst doing a series of short monologue pieces.
The text has been taken from a tv play called The Arcata Promise that starred Anthony Hopkins.
I haven't worked with proper lighting before so any feedback on how the final piece looks would be a great help.
Nothing flashy here, just solid shots and good acting.
Hope you enjoy.

Okay I have a fair few bits in the works but as for complete things I can show, well not so much but here are links to a few.

A cobbled together music video, the footage was test footage for a grindhouse style mock trailer called pancake day.  As it was never finished I offered it up as a music video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzlW11sdOMI

And another part of that, I think the music is perfect for the tone we were aiming for.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-L_iwFUA5Y

Playing with extranormal and gluing it together.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvUId7fK2Is

These two are promotional samplers I put together for Paul Miro, the artist who the Empty head video was for.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-B4QGvGAmM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA_zg0de1PQ

I am also putting together a few other videos for him one is a collection of fan footage mixed with performance footage and animation.  Now when I say fan footage I mean like the feeder just a day video.
