Well as I predicted, Arsenal knicked it. Deserved to lose, the warning signs had beeen coming over the last few games and IMO the Fulham match flattered to decieve slightly. We're still a class side and more than in for a shout but I still feel one or two new signings, a DM an striker, would do the trick

A good result today, considering we went behind. Rooney looks like he's regaining his sharpness and some of the midfield play was great, both protecting the defence and creating the attack. Vidic is looking like he has settled well, though the jury is till out on Evra, IMO.

Shit game today. A good second half performance may have won us the match but it didn't make up for the terrible football in the 1st half.

So when is Carrick actually going to do anything of note for us this season?

True, another flop buy for Fergie by the looks of things so far

Carrick was completely anomynous in the second half, when we played our best football, yet seemed to be at the centre of most things in the first, when we weren't playing well.

That is slightly worrying. I'll give him another few games before passing judgement though, I mean he is playing a different role to the one he was playing at Spurs so it's only fair that we give him a few more games to bed in.

Any predictions for tonights game?

I reckon 3-1 with Scholes, Rooney and Saha getting one each. I'll be a bit gutted if we don't beat these convincingly at home.

A guy I work with is a Spurs fan and he swears blind that Carrick will come good very soon.

Looking forward to the game tonight.  I always enjoy European nights.

Should be a convincing win tonight but you never know...

I think i may have a little bet to liven this one up en route to the match, i can see it being 2-0 by 40th minute and rest of game being fairly boring - Copenhagen will probably be in damage limitation mode.

I said so far! And I actually was impressed by his play tonight. To be honest I don't think he'll ever do anything "spectacular" that is expected with someone so expensive, but he is a decent passer

Anyone else think that David Pleat is a complete tit? He was making snide comments about our performance last night, saying that we weren't at our best and that we'd have struggled to beat a bigger team. Ok we weren't at our best but we didn't need to be. Despite that though we scored 3 goals, should definitely have had a penalty, Saha should have scored 2, Rooney should have had at least 1 and Smith should have gotten on the scoresheet as well. Not bad for a team not playing at their best eh?! Especially considering we had 1 of our 1st choice back four playing and had to reshuffle our midfield last minute due to Giggs pulling out. The bloke is a tosser.

Just got back from the match, Liverpool had the poorest support Ive ever seen at OT. It started off great with both sets of fans singing and then the scousers just pretty much sat there.

Shocking!

I find it amazing that the geordies are that stupid as to not play Rossi He the 2nd best finisher at United after Ole and he cant get into a team struggling for goals.
