It seems so, Vegas is actually annoying me at the moment and inparticular it's Ray Langston that's the cause. The writers are making out he knows more than Greg, Hodges and even in some cases Nick. It's hard to believe that Nick (after all his years as a CSI) wouldn't pick up on some of the stuff Ray does, it just doesn't ring true.

That would be great if it didn't involve Horatio......

Oh my, the first of the trilogy episodes was excruciating. Langston and Horatio in the same episode was almost too much to bare. The way the Miami CSI's were making out that Langstons arrival was like the second coming was painful. Why would vegas send their least experienced CSI? It just doesn't make sense.......Bring on Mac, he'll show you two muppets how it's done

ray was introduced as a distinguished forensic psycholgist last season and the cast, including grissom, defered to his experience and reputation.
now he has fast tracked to a decent grade csi he is even more useful to the team because of his knowledge plus new training.

interesting to see new faces in 'miami' culled from 'betty', '11th hr' and 'boston legal'.

Meh, It just smacks of stupidness. When he first started he was asking lots of questions as he was learning but now all of a sudden he's the bloody messiah. He may have been a psycholgist author/lecturer but that's a long way from being a CSI of Catherine or Nicks ability. I think I'm going to give up on Vegas if this keeps happening and just stick to the NY version because it's the best by a country mile and doesn't have one annoying character....

I do have to say that this weeks CSI was fabulous! Nick and the gangs adventure was great and it's good to see the re-emergance of 'Jekyll'

I did honestly did think he'd been kidnapped and we'd have another "CSI in peril" episode. I like it when they make a more light-hearted episode. As ever though, CSI:NY is still the best.

A new love interest for Mac! What happened to Julia Ormond's character from last year? I thought they were trying to build something there.

I think CSI Miami (in the most recent US episode) has both jumped the Shark and Nuked the fridge. They have Callie (?) solving a crime whilst having an out of body experience whilst she is in a coma and talking to a ghost.

I am waiting for that Jekyll story arc to continue, it was getting interesting.

I was discussing this with the Mrs when the episode was on and we couldn't remember if it got cleared up. We decided because we couldn't remember then it can't have been. Wasn't the last thing to do with this arc Danny finding his dog tags in the pawn shop and him running it for prints? That's the last thing we can remember

I thought that too but she was only in it for three episodes, think it was an extended guest appearence for the 100th episode.

Didn't they find Edward Furlong's fingerprints on Danny's dog tags. I guess that story will be resolved when he pops back up in the show.

Ah! That's right, they were Shane Caseys prints. The murderer who escaped on the way to jail and then set Hawkes up for murder, doesn't sound too good for Danny.....

I was wanting to start watching CSI but didnt know where to start so I've decided to watch Las Vegas first and after the 2nd season start Miami alongside the 3rd season and then after the 4th season of Vegas start NY because thats how they started in chronological order 2000, 2002 then 2004.

Good plan, but I suggest forgetting Miami. On a side note, NY is the best of the three.

Miami wasn't bad to start with. I think around it's third year I liked it more than the other 2. But it's now a bit of a joke, though still enjoyable. NY is the best.

And speaking of NY, a blast from the past in last night's episode!

Miami has pretty much reached the point of becoming a massive cliche now.

Spoiler for what is ahead

The episode where a crime is solved by a member of the team whom is in a coma and having an out of body experience talking to the ghost of the murder victim is pretty much evidence enough of this.

Just started CSI Vegas and watched the first 6 episodes and it's good so far, have to watch quite a few episodes though before I start getting to know everyones names and become more comfatable with the characters.

Me too. we can't have Danny catching a bullet again.

Vegas was a good one too, but I do wonder just when Sara's going to return home.
