Yeah, CSi NY has become the better show for me too, but Vegas did have some cracking episodes a few weeks back.
Im thinking of the Murder Game in particular. Loved the whole mickey taking of it, especially when the mortuary assistant (whos name i forget) couldnt wait to blurt out "No evidence of sexual trauma"

I loved that ep, especially when Doc Robbins just lost his temper and told David to get out, lol.

I love love love CSI, although I agree with others that Miami takes a while to get into and IMO has the more irritating characters (Wolfe anyone... )

Bloody writers strike has cocked up Season 8 of Vegas, I'm wanting to know what's happening with Warwick!  Hopefully it will be back on 5 soon, starts again in the US this week.

The announcer woman said at the end of the last Season 8 episode that it will be back on in 3 weeks, so barring any delays that should be the 8th of April.

I think they've dropped that entire storyline or going to come back to it later, but the one about the little girl was really sad.

Wonder if that man who life Catherine destroyed will actually make good on his promise?

Guess we find out in 2 weeks

I hope so, Not that I hope he'll succeed, but I'd like that story to continue.

I would say that CSI Las Vegas remains the daddy of all the spin-offs.

I wouldn't say the others are spin-offs as such, I tend to think of the term as "not as good copies" but NY and Miami are great shows too!

H in Miami is a one line wonder and the scene settings are always amazing to watch but a little too far fetched at times. Still entertaining though.

NY is currently on a good roll though with the Taxicab killer, really can't wait for the next episode after the cliffhanger last week.

Vegas is still on top though because it's established, the characters and their history are known almost fully now by people who have been watching it from season 1. Newer episodes are not as amazing as the earlier season episodes though and everything is more grown up and normal now but it's still good if you've been following Vegas to see how things are progressing with the characters and good to see they're all still there too.

I had a feeling someting was going to happen in the restaurant, but then nothing.
Even at the car i thought 'oh, no', but on seeing who it was thought they will just finish on a low.

How wrong  i was!!

Well, at least season 9 will have a definite direction.

I think the restauarnt was a bad omen to be honest. I mean, in the history of the show, how many times have we ever seen the gang all together away from work? Very, very few. It seemed so out of place you could tell something was going to happen.

Wasn't this Warwicks last season?
I doubt they will bring him back especially now after the drug fiasco.

Gimli - Im still in shock about who was outside the car.

Still have the last 2 weeks of CSi NY to catch up on, I hear that is rather good too.

Another good episode from CSI:NY the other night. They've had a really great series with some very good ongoing stories -  the cabbie Killer, the 333 caller and that weird online game one.

Managed to watch the 4 episodes i recorded of CSi NY last night and have to say that Cabbie Killer was good and it didnt have a crap ending as 333 did.
At one point i was almost shouting at the tv for Montana not to get in the cab!!

Anyone know how many more episodes are left to show?

I was left stunned when I watched that episode O_O. I had no idea that it was going to happen! I mean, Jorja Fox's exit was pretty well publicised beforehand, but I've heard nothing about Gary Dourdan leaving!

Nick better save him...I hope they make it like CSI: Miami where Delco came back again after getting shot. It'd be so sad if he died :(.

Love, love, LOVE CSI :D particularly Vegas. I think NY's my next favourite and then Miami, cause Miami's storylines just seem to be the same all the time - just drug busts and gangs.

Delco took a shot to the head, he should have been dead.
It pissed me off that the CSi-Miami writers/producers/whoever were too scared to kill him off.

Unlike Vegas and NY, who kill people left, right and center!

Your right that was one hell of a shock, their was a kind of atmosphere that something was going to happen after they all left the diner but i didn't expect that to happen. I hope that when CSI Vegas comes back on the guy who did it will be caught. CSI new york has been brilliant this season as well, Reed was lucky that Mac had managed to find him and the killer and eventually arrest him, nice touch at the end where they both confidently get into a taxi cab.
The thing that gets me is why did the mayor's aide and the cop from across the river who joined investigation seemed so bothered/angry by the fact that Mac's had a son that he kinda looked after.

I think it was more to the do with the fact that they thought Mac was witholding vital information and that he was too close to the case.

Season finale tonight.

Channel 5 woman said something about a hostage situation.

Those things never end good.

It'll be interesting to see how the next season starts, will it be mac trying to reason with the killer or stella and the team looking for him. I liked that it was different with mac having to process the evidence at the bank and the Cid helping with a 3-d image, great storylines.
