In the U.S. we have a candidate for the funniest man alive at the moment. His name is Dave Chappelle. Chappelle's Show is probably the best sketch show the world has had in ages. Are they showing this gem in the UK at the moment? If yes, are you watching? Why not? It's side-splittingly funny. Empire's five-star review is dead-on accurate. Surely such a trusted source can't be wrong. Aquaint yourselves with the likes of Tyrone Biggums, Lil Jon, Clayton Bigsby (black-white supremicist), Tron, Black Bush and dozens more. Don't miss the Rick James episode. It's so funny you'll lose control of your bodily functions. I guarantee it.

Give me your thoughts on Chappelle's Show. There must be some fans out there.

I love it, it's incredibly funny.

Love the sketches, my favourite sketch is probably Black Bush.

When Dave Chappelle  left the show he had already finished 4 episodes worth of material. Comedy Central is planning on airing these episodes this summer. I know that 4 episodes shouldn't be considered a season's worth, but hopefully Dave will return to resume production on more.

Check out Comedy Central to view the season 3 preview.

The show is one of the best things out there comedy wise, daves stand up DVDs are worth a look too.

Dave Chappelle is a god, really really funny guy. Recently watched his Block Party movie although most of it was music, it's always a joy to see new material from him.

And can't wait for the eps of S3 to air

I loved this show while in the US, but hadn't heard anything about it here, until Empire's DVD review. It was great because it was so non-PC, which is rare for US television (but not for Comedy Central, I suppose). Clayton Bigsby was hilarious and I always loved the sketch with Dave as Samuel L Jackson doing the Sam Adams beer commercials. Perhaps some of the jokes are too American-orientated to appeal to some Brits, but it's worth a try.

I was thinking of making a thread asking the same question. I've been watching his show on FX and it's hilarious! I'll most probably be buying the Dvd's in the near future. My favourite sketch has to be the 'The Niggar Family' sketch, i really couldn't control my laugther.

Yes, I love that too, but was somewhat dubious about mentioning the "N-word", as they say in the US, out of context, as it sounds more offensive than it actually is. Thanks a lot for providing the clip!

I ordered the Dvd's a little while ago, and re-watching the episodes has been such a joy. And i think my new favourite sketch is the one featuring Wayne Brady: Hilarious!

Sorry Zaphod, I was in a state of utter disbelief. The answer you are looking for is 4. That's the magic number.  However, the lost episodes are somewhat of a let down compared to the genius episodes of the two previous seasons.

I enjoyed some of the sketches, but most Chappelle fans didn't think much of them.

Discovered this gem of a series when i was in the states this summer. Fucking hilarious stuff. The Rick James episode is one of the funniest things ive ever seen. I also love Lil John and Tyrone the crack addict (especially when hes on fear factor) and the R Kelly 'Im gonna piss on you' sketch. Genius

The Wayne Brady episode was also amazing. I also got his stand up dvd. I think its called Live at the Filmore. Its only an hour long but its the best standup ive ever seen. You should all check it out
