The Peter Weller Sci-Fi movie Screamers is getting a DTV sequel!

http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releases/screamers-the-hunting2.html

Screamers: the Hunting!!!!

Here is the trailer

Fair play that they are throwing in the first film - but this doesn't look good. Gotta love the Gears of War style front cover for the DVD. Oh and Lance pops up in this. Hope he got a nice house extension.

God that guy must have so many houses with extensions on with the amount of crap he stars in!

I asked my Mum to pick me up Tremors a while back, and she came back with the Tremors Quadrilogy. I haven't bothered watching the sequels because they don't have Kevin Bacon. And the monsters get legs and wings apparently. WHY?!

God that movie is so much fun.

So I watched Screamers 2: The Hunting. Would be a candidate for the "There is nothing as magnificent as bad Sci Fi" thread.

I noticed that with the screamers 2 dvd you get the 1st film as an extra!!!

Behind enemy lines 3 wasnt to bad for the cheap movie it was. but mr keenedy isnt the main star so not sure why he's on the cover??

I havent seen the one with wings, I saw the one with legs though years back and i only saw it the once. I think its the second one and it is pretty good! give it a try, and let me know what you think of the others while your at it because ive been contemplating getting that set for a while now!

Don't think anyone mentioned this horrific looking title - uncluding a laughable attempt to link it to the original on the cover.

John Waters? *The* John Waters? By process of elimination I can only surmise that he must be playing the walrus, as he's the only "name" who isn't on the poster.

No, it's this John Waters-click

This isn't technically a DTV film, it's a TV movie.

I only know of this from ThatGuyWithTheGlasses when someone on the site reviewed this, it's not good at all.

I'm not sure either. The first was good but they have gotten continually worse since and it's at the point now where there's nowhere to go but up, in terms of quality.

Lake Placid now has three DTV sequels - apparently the fourth part will be the last because they call it The Final Chapter.

Death Race 2 and 3 also available.

On another note, this thread has me shaking my head in disbelief.
