 i heard ages ago that there were more sequels on the way for the ring franchise and the starship troopers franchise, did these make it to the shelves?

also, hasselhoff in anaconda3+4.
is anyone else amazed that anacondas even made it to theatres? i mean a sequel to a movie few remember, with none of the original cast? bit of a no-brainer.

I was going to mention Critters, but I see someone beat me to it. Wasn't Di Caprio in part 3 or 4? I'm off to order the Tremors boxset, since I recall seeing it in the HMV sale.

 Dear God, do these films actually make a profit for the studios?! 

Am I right in thinking that some of these films get a cinema release but only in America?  America always seems to have a whole host of lame films released at the cinema which never see the light of day here.

Actually watched Starship Troopers 3 the other day and you are right, it is surprisingly good! A million times better than the shite that was ST2 and has a logical progression from the original. There is some pretty funny right ring propaganda and the special effects are a mix of great, good and okay. The only down side is that some of the acting is a bit crap (Jonny Rico's female lieutenant has a shit french/russian accent and isn't the best of actors although she does look good naked!) and some of the religious waffle towards the end does drag on. Other than that it is a good film and if you are a fan of the original I recommend watching it and forgetting number 2 ever happened and pretend that this is the only sequel!
