To be fair, I was forced to watch Urban Legends: Bloody Mary, by a couple of friends. I was falling asleep, but the film was surprisingly good, enough to make me wake up and watch it. Better than the original (which I've only seen bits of) and it's low budget actually being a good thing. The director and cast were sufficiently talented to allow that to stimulate ideas and compensate for having no money, the director at least should be moving on to better things (But being a woman I doubt she'll be allowed the chance). Not gonna trouble anyone's top ten lists by any means but it was a pleasant surprise and out of the three films my friends got - Constantine, Creep and Bloody Mary (They are horror fans) this was the one that got kept. Deservedly so.

Do movie makers just stick the tagline 'UNRATED!' on DVD's and re-sell it to make some money? Christ, I dont think I have, nor ever will, see a movie with UNRATED! written on it.

oh how traaagic!

They usually use it as an excuse to show a few breast's?? As with the dukes sequal? Which was a family friendly movie until the dvd release where they pushed unrated on it and added some breast's ever ten mins for horny teenagers!!!

I don't believe I said anything against the film, but good point, well made.

Back with more no budget, bargain bin thrills and spills and edge of the seat boredom as a cast of utter nobody's make no impact whatsoever in a sequel that wasn't wanted, needed or requested. So bad even i can't be arsed to download it from Demonoid for free...........

Even though these two sequels are straight-to-video, they are actually pretty good.  Christopher Walken is amazing as the renegade Angel Gabriel.

The Prophecy was originally a Trilogy, but unfortunately we're up to Prophecy 5.  Good thing that Walken didn't stay on.

I think American Psycho 2 is quite possibly the worst film I have ever seen, I struggled to watch it all and couldn't even appreciate it for comedy value. The biggest insult is to think that some people may associate it with the fantastic AP, when it has nothing in common with it in terms of style, story, and especially quality. One of the few films I hae felt deeply offended by.

ANOTHER SPECIES?! Is that the 4th now or the 5th.

Just saw this on DVDactive. Because the world was clearly crying out for another. And look at the back of the DVD, the first was apparantly the 'best selling live action DVD of 2006'. Bollocks it was.

some of 'em make sense in a 'lets make money off the original's name' kinda way. But why do they release sequels to movies that wern't succesful in the first place, that dont make any sense.

i got a thing about watching these kinds movies though...Starship Troopers 2 is badass.
