I'm not sure the Tremors film count...after all they still have Michael Gross in and he was in the original. That does show SOME continuity.......

Nope, I saw this at the cinema, it was the 'offical sequel'.

And I think any straight to video film should count even if there is an original cast member returning because some are made for dvd and are blatant cash-ins

Universal Soldier 2, sure there was a sequel to The Mighty Ducks as well. Anaconda had a sequel as well.

The 2 Universal Soldier sequels were unofficial and made for tv I think. The sequel called 'The Return' starring Van Damme in the role again was official I think maybe Mighty Ducks 3 was straight to video, number 2 wasn't. Anacondas had a cinema release

I love this film. I might even like it more than the first one.

The amount of films named so far in his thread that I've seen is probably quite sad.

I haven't seen the following though. I have yet to work up the courage since seeing the original.

See the problem with The Crow sequels are that they do not have Brandon Lee in (for obvious reasons) and he was the key to the film's success. I also think it is slightly bad taste to carry on a saga purely for commercial reasons after the main hero of the film is now deceased.

I remember this being in cinemas.

Oh, and The Lion King 2 wasn't that bad. Practially all of the other straight-to-DVD Disney sequels look abominable, except for Kronk's New Groove, which I wouldn't mind seeing.

I see Kevin Smith is trying something different.

And The Mighty Ducks 3 probably did go straight to video as Emilio Estevez is literally in it for about 5 minutes.

I've seen about 5 or so. They aren't actually all that bad. The first one is a favourite of mine

Put on embarrassment hat for completism! - 4 & 5 is basically a single story over 2 films. The only connection to the original 3 - or even the very enjoyable first one, mediocre sequel and not bad 3rd with Walken having fun - is the angel war thing.

They could have done them better tho, the comics are all mini-series rather than one ongoing one, and each has completely different characters around the theme of someone brought back from the dead by the Crow for vengeance.  Some of the series are better than others, none are as good as the original which was adapted for the first film.  So they could make more with different characters by following the comics, but none of the sequels do (AFAIK), they just make up some shite and slap the Crow logo on it ( at least I assume this is what happens, I was so disappointed with the second one I've never bothered with any of the others)
