I don't know if this already has a topic but I'm new and thought I'd start one anyway...

Any fans here? I love this show, and have an unhealthy love of Noel Fielding's hair and Julian Barratt's legs...

It's absolute genius. I love just about everything about it, from the broad surrealism to the tiny references (for example, in series 2, every episode contains Bollo saying the immortal Lucasarts line "I've got a bad feeling about this"). There's nothing else like it and it deserves to be massive.

Just thought I'd post a quick reminder to all the fans that the Series 2 DVD is available for pre-order now here!

For those who haven't got Series 1 yet (which is shocking), there is also a boxset of ther two series for £22 (pretty good value) here!.

I'm actually selling my copy of Series 1 so I can buy the boxset, sad I know!

Also, how about some of your favourite Boosh quotes? One of my favourites is the whole Rudi Manchego conversation from teh Radio Series:

"Then along came Rudi Manchego with his fingers of fury and simple rustic wisdom, 'If you look at a pebble, you will see your own face', it didn't mean anything, but Mrs. Gideon was taken in"

(writing that made me realise how hard it is to write Boosh quotes down!)

I loved the radio series and the first tv series but the second one just left me numb... shame they had a good thing going.

I think with both series you have to watch the episodes a few times to get to love them. They get better and better. My tickets for the live show came today! woohoo! I like the quote:

Howard- 'Vince... dead. Wind... my only friend.'
Wind- 'I haaate you.'
Howard- 'shut up wind!'

hehe.

Tundra is a good episode, but the funniest bit is:

"Now, you must eat the local delicacy..."
*One of the guys is sick into a bowl*
"Yeah, I'm not really hungry at the moment"
"We will be very offended if you do not eat our local delicacy..."
*Howard eats a spoonful of the sick*
"...Sandwiches, and someone clear that sick up"

That had me and my friends laughing for AGES!

Yeah your so right! That is the funniest bit in that episdode but I couldn't remember the exact words. Or possibly that line from Bainbridge:

'I'll just take this, have a piss, and be off.'

I love all the 'I'm a cockney I'm a cockney' stuff too. 'Apples and pears and... various other fruit.' Or how about 'Oooh! I'm a cockney flower, watch me shower!' from series two.

Can I make a plea for any fan of the Boosh to make sure they vote it high in their list for the Top 100 TV Shows poll, we need to get it in the list!

Cheers for that link!! Will watch that as soon as I get home! I've always heard of it but never seen it.

Will need to start saving now for the 2 series box set. I purposely forced myself to stay away from the series 1 DVD so I could wait for the 2 together!

Thought I'd post a reminder that the Boosh Series 2 started on BBC 2 on Monday. If you watched it, was it as good/bad as you remembered it, and if you didn't, make sure you watch next Monday at 11:20.

I've only ever seen one episode of this.  I'd been on a plane for about 18 hours and I thought I'd give it a go.  I think it was Call Of The Yeti and I very nearly pissed my flaps.  Must buy the box set.

All I really remember was Bollo reminiscing about how he lost his driving licence "It was Chico . . .".  And something about yeti's being afraid of Connect 4.

Oh my god, I actually have the chance to see them again because they are coming back to Brighton, but this time to the Brighton Centre. I am so confused, it's quite expensive to go twice, but is it worth it?
