Anyone watch this? It's showing on the Sci Fi channel at the mo.

I think it's pretty good. Patricia Arquette is always adorable and I like the way the stories are told.

I thought there already was a thread on this, but apparently not according to the Search function

Anyway, I've been watching it on the sci-fi channel as I've missed most of the episodes on BBC 1 due to the time they broadcast it and the fact that I kept forgetting it was on when it first started as they don't really advertise it.

I like it and I think the way they've got the balance between her powers and her family life just about right.

I love Medium. I've managed to watch all of them so far on BBC1. A great show.

I remember posting in a Medium thread not that long ago. I also searched for it and came up with nothing

Did you watch it last night Merly?

A much better episode than that Red Riding Hood one, I thought.

No I missed it cos I was watching Prison Break. Its repeated on sunday though so I'll catch it then. I quite liked the Red Riding Hood one. Well kind of half and half really. Some of it I thought was a bit naff but I  liked the beginning. I like the way it always starts with her dreams. Last weeks episode was really creepy when the guy in her dreams was out in the hall calling "mummy". That really freaked me out for some reason. I thought it was so creepy the way he just kept appearing. GAH!

I LOVE the show. Any excuse to watch Patricia Arquette really......
Whats up with he time slot they give it though? Really annoying 4 college goers like me that need their sleep.

I think she's adorable. There's just something very cute about her. I adored her in True Romance. She's actually quite a versatile actress.

It doesn't look like it's on next week. Have they removed it for the World Cup?

I hope not, although I don't know why the sci-fi channel would do that as I wasn't aware they were showing any matches.

shame its on at such a late hour, think it would have more of an
audience to appreciate it , if it were on earlier

It's on a 9pm monday nights on the Sci Fi channel. A much more respectable hour I think you'll agree.

Excellent show, and one I look forward to. I think the story lines are well-written, well-acted and everyone in my house is impressed. I just hope it lasts as too often an interesting premise is culled and you never see the like again - Threshold or Miracles, anyone? Innovation is obviously not something that is cultivated in a TV prog, or is my cynicism showing?

Im bumping this thread because ive just been watching it on DVD and it occured to me that it should be back on BBC1 by now really. they treated it like crap when it was on originally so im half expecting them not to bring it back.

Ive managed to watch a few episodes online from the new season 3 currently showing in the states. Have to say i think its gone from strength to strength, some of the new episodes are really great

Anyone else watch this? and anyone know when or indeed if its gonna return to the BBC. season 2 dvd is out soon over here though so not got to long to wait.

I've been watching season 2 on the Sci Fi channel on monday nights. It has gone from strength to strength, I agree. It's a fantastic show. I love the whole family element too.

I think it's highly underrated over here in the UK. Most people have never heard of it and it deserves to be a big hit just like Lost, Heroes etc.

i totally agree, i find alot of shows like Lost etc are over hyped and usually fall away quickly in quality-Desperate Housewives and Lost!- whereas smaller shows like Medium go under the radar despite being just as good if not better. I hope it makes it to another couple of seasons, i love the family element aswell, that middle kid (Brigette i think) is totally gonna grow up to be a super genius! Patricia Arquette is class aswell, everytime i watch it i think 'i must watch True Romance as soon as this episode is finished'

Yeah, you did, Merly.  It started last night on BBC 1.

I won't say anything much about it then, since you missed it.

Not the best of episodes, but it was good to have it back on our screens. Looking forward to next week.

Is anyone else still watching this?

Quite a weak episode last night, I thought except for that bit where the camcorder was in the car.

Did anyone watch the 'Be Kind, Rewind' episode from a couple of weeks ago and if so, could they tell me what happened as I was really tired that day and I fell asleep and missed it.

I didn't rate the camcorder episode. It seemed to end really abruptly and didn't really have a solid conclusion, it was every ambiguous.
The bit with the car alarm was amusing though  and damn I love Bridgit. She's awesome
