I predict that this man will become one of the best writers and directors in Hollywood. M:I:3, his first feature was a superbly directed. He has created some of the best shows on television. I hope his next pilot is up to the same standard.

I wait eagerly for his next project. Anyone else share the same views?

Couldn't agree more, the man is a genius i mean he should throught of Lost off the top of his head (withg some help), i think he should move on from TV and go into films.

And look at him, his little glasses and everything, looks like an older version of a student.

JJ's a bit cool isn't he. I love those glasses. Can't get enough of those glasses. He sure is rocking.

oh, and by the way, WHY DOES JAKE GYLLENHAAL GET 131 PAGES OF POSTS, WHEREAS JJ GETS 4 POSTS!

I think his directing skills show in the way he controls Naveen Andrews. H is crazy that man, so JJ's control is awesome.

I think JJ is a great writer and director. I haven't seen MI3 yet but I'm a big fan of Lost and Alias!

I like Lost, though I'm not a viewer of every episode which means I'm definitely not a fan in that sense.

Nonetheless I like JJ Abrams: MI3 was superb and the second best film in that franchise. I wish him good luck with Star Trek.

The 24 writiers are brilliant but JJ has created mythologys, especially in Lost (with some help from that other bloke). The pilot which JJ wrote and directed is in my opinion one of the best pieces of television ever.

JJ is abover average definatley. Verging on brilliant. A few more projects and he will be a mastermind. Lost is a brilliant TV show, and MI:III was a decent film. He will rock Star Trek and I can see him going places over the next few years.

Stepping on dangerous ground there my friend, best not to anger the Gyllenhaalics!

Loved MI:3 but to be honest found the direction fairly conventional. I haven't yet jumped on the Lost bandwagon (waiting until I get back to Blighty) but I loved Alias. Definitely a talent to watch for the future, but I'm not convinced that he should give up TV for movies, seeing as Alias (and from what I've heard, Lost as well) showed a lot more originality than his direction in MI:3....

Although this could be the most random fight (Gyllenhaal Vs Abrams) I must stand by the JJmeister (and his glasses).

JJ does have Matthew Fox and jennifer Garner on his side

Who does Gyllenhaal have? Dennis Quaid?

You seriously belive that? Let the games begin then

well anyways I really don't get this JJ Abrams thing. Dont' say that you are wrong on this but I personally don't get it. I haven't seen MI3 and don't think I'm going to cause i can't watch something a writer of Felicity has directed. I also find Lost and Alias really boring so Don't think I'll like it anyways...

Jake could steal JJ's glasses and stomp on them and break them and then he wouldnt be able to SEE! HA!

Yup Dennis is there! And Ian Holm! And Dustin Hoffman! And Susan Sarandon! And Heath Ledger ! And Jeremy Piven! And Selma Blair! And Jared Leto! And many more including Ang Lee, and he can DEFINITELY kick ass!  Oh, and he also has a global army of fangirls wtih sharp fingernails and lots of rage!

You're right....this is totally random, but amusing nonetheless!

I worship at the shrine of Simon Pegg!  But if it comes to it, I'll willingly scratch out his eyes in the name of Jake!

So that's the JJ smilie eh?

Jake says "kiss my bafta-award winning ass, punk coz THIS  is my smilie!"
