Scotland is so beautiful. One day I will go to Scotland and go to Lake Windermere and Loch Ness. Best way to Scotland from London and cheapest please do tell.

Some great photography, here.

Here's a few examples of some of my recent landscape work. Sorry about the size, but some of it resides with stock libraries, so it's a necessity:

Cheers to you both, darkcloud and Hobbitonlass.

To answer the question - yes, taken on a Nikon D70 digital SLR.

Stunning as always, FF!  I have an original too. It hangs by my front door.

Nice camera

I'm always envious of people who have the sort of landscapes around them to take stunning pics like that

Aye, and I've still not seen a penny for it, either.

Most of those shots are on my doorstep, but a few of them were produced on trips to the northern most coast of Scotland.

It was a small breed of Hippo, Frank, didnt check the name but the transparent tank was perfect for getting this layer effect and the kid in the corner works perfectly.

Hozay, I'd love if you could repost those pictures as (I don't know about anyone else) they aren't working for me. I was in Byron Bay for a few days in July, and the only regret is that I didn't take nearly enough pictyres of the place. I'd love to see your pictures though as a reminder, especially as I remember the lighthouse well.

It's spelt manatee.

Apparently they used to be mistaken for mermaids.

To be fair, it's an easy mistake to make

A mermaid

A manatee

Manatees (or sea cows) are aquatic mammals common to caribbean waters and the south-east coast of the USA, though they are found in other parts of the world.

Hobbes,I'll try to get those Byron Bay pics up today.
In the meantime....I took these two days ago from the observation  deck of the Worlds tallest residential tower.
Q1 Gold Coast Australia.

I'll also repost this pic because I don't think it came up last time.
I took this last May at Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa. That's a 23 feet long Whale Shark, one of three in the tank.
