Wow.  That is a bloody good picture.  The only thing that ruins it for me is the telephone wires running through the middle of it.

Heh, cheers.

Yeah I kinda love the shot too but felt if I tore down the phone wires just to make it that bit better the nearby residents may have formed an angry mob and chased me down the street pitchforks in hand.

I love taking photos as well as looking at them and there are some amazing quality ones on this thread.

Sanchia, I have those same shots from Prague as well   A beautiful city ripe for fantastic pics!

I would love to go to Barcelona for the picture taking opportunity (as well as loads of other places)........

Ditto. Although i found 'the clock' a bit of an anti climax after everyone i'd met had said it was amazing.

This is one of my favourite photos of my little girl, I love the way you can see her movement in the hair, she has brilliant eyes too:

Thanks for the compliments

There are loads of great photos in this thread. Makes me want to get out with the camera again, though the weather isn't actually perfect for photography atm.

So don't take them outdoors!

Here's one from a course I took a few years ago:

And here's a more recent attempt at a similar pic in colour (and digital):

I gather that is what is called a "dramatic sky".

Does anyone else find themself booking a holiday with regards to anticipating the scenery or is it just me?

Certainly not the most beautiful pic that I've ever taken but I like the details such as the wind turbines in the bottom right hand corner.

Irish coastline (Waterford?)

@Hobbiton Lass

Definitely recommended La Sagrada Familia is truly unique.

@ Twizzle
Nice picture, things always look nice from a distance and there is so much to see. I like the windfarm.  I went on on a balloon ride recently but sadly could only get about 1000 ft up due to low cloud.

The landscape is actually quite different in those two countries. Iceland is amazing, but living in norway i've kinda gotten tired of the scenery here.

...nice pics though.

Oh yes, I remember that place. Tasty vittles indeed.

The food was tasty but I was shitting all over the place the following morning. In the house of a complete stranger no less, with no change of underwear.

That's a story I probably shouldn't have told.

Lovley pic lulu! I think this house is wonderful. I'm not sure why I felt compelled to tell you that though

Sadly I'm without a digital camera of my own...though it's probably a good thing, as I'd never stop taking photos and would use up all my computer's memory very quickly.

Those geese are Canadian Geese, and those so called 'babies' are chicks, pretty fat ones as well, parents must have laid early.

God, do people get taught anything nowadays.

Is this a sign of global warming - answer like bollocks it is.

PS - But they are great photos.

Actually young geese are called goslings.  There are some near where I live, only problem is if you are walking with 15 feet of them the parents keep running over and trying to castrate you.

I don't know about the "most beautiful photo" I've ever taken but I was in NYC last week (on holiday with my girl, not work, so I did not shoot a lot) and although I was frustrated with not bringing back too many good photos I still got a couple of decent ones. The last one in particular I'm quite happy with.
