I've discovered that there's a Barn Owl hunting over the field behind my garden, I've been trying to get a decent shot of him so far managed to get this shot, but bugger me is it hard - the amount of post processing to bring it up to this was ridiculous.

A moving object at night is one of the hardest things to get right I expect so you've done well.

Nice cat, seal and bee shots too fella's.

I may of shot my load far too early for the OTPC 5. I found a cheeky wee beastie who set up home outside my backdoor this morning. I like these, but i've been crying about trying to afford some sort of upgrade to get sharper close-ups, as i love photographing the wee ones

Agreed - the level of detail and the colours for a phone are incredible.

I've always enjoyed the idea of time-lapse but haven't quite got the kit.

The Canon software that came with my 400d does it, and iMovie has the option built in too.

I did THIS one a few years ago, but it's shot through my old sony video camera

My pal in Switzerland filmed THIS sunrise, which isn't bad for a first go!

Castle Rising

I couldn't get the best angle as I got the impression should would have got mediaeval on me if I tried to move around her.

This was the other picture I was contemplating for the competition.

Beautiful shot mate, as is the flower shot (daisies / gazanias ??) above. Those flowers are very photogenic for some reason. The other shots are good too but I particularly those two and the baby swan.

Great shots hubu especially the second one, nice angle. I took some spider shots a couple of days ago with the photo comp in mind but the spider's a bit too big and gruesome and scary lookin.

The top two shots here I took the same day as "The Cormorant" shot I had in the last photo comp....

and another bird shot ( I think I'm addicted),

It was quite a crop as I found I had two lamp posts to either side which I had not seen when I took it.

Show us your scary spider (which sounds a bit rude).

I love the beaches that have the shallow angle so you get that reflection. Here are some of my beach shots

This one's last week in Wales:

Sadly I had no tripod so had to jam my camera up against the post of the bridge to hold it steady.

Is this (and maybe the second shot) in your local park or public garden ? If so you're very lucky, they're like Monet's. Nicely captured too.

I took these two shots for the photo comp but eventually decided to go with a different shot.
