Great photo, I like it. But who's that in the fog? I assume he knew he was photographed?

That is a great photo - very atmospheric.  The silhouette idea reminds me of these two pics my dad took of me when we were out walking one day - clearly I knew I was having my pic taken.

I see, great job. The fog creates a interesting effect. What time did you take the photo? I guess it was either early or late.

Well in truth, there wasn't any fog. We were above the cloud line and that's what gave the sun a glowing look through the clouds. The 'mist' is actually condensation that appeared on the filter.

As for the time of day it was approaching sunset, so early evening time.

I have a free photobucket account i use to upload random photos onto, get one of those. Or, i use picasa for full quality shots, they can be displayed in easily navigable albums, and in full quality (did i already say that?).

Once you've uploaded your photos somewhere, get the direct link. Ensure the link ends with an image extension, .jpg or .png for example.

Then on the thread,(and depending on your browser) click on the little image of a painting, or button that says image, and paste the link in the popup box, or between the tags [ image][/image] (without the space before 'image') and your pic should appear!

An attempt to resurrect this thread from the extinction of the mammoth.

A little bleak but an experiment with photostitching.

A touch of Autumn.

Sadly some lens flare crept into this one and I understand you can get rid of it via photoshop but it is a bit beyond my skills.

One of those times when I wish I had my 300mm lens rather than my 200mm.

A little bit more Autumn.

Managed to get a hang of the panorama thingy on my phone when I was in Tambourine, Brisbane. You can see the joins a bit but it came out pretty good.

I'm saving up for a DSLR at the moment. Maybe I'll ask for one for my 21st (in March)

Some lovely stuff guys. Here's one I took during the summer (remember that? It was warm and you could walk down the street without getting soaked to your knees!)
