Not the first time you see the character but it's definitely his introduction.

Vader's so overrated as an entrance. He just walks through the fucking door, that's it!

You want a real entrance then Frankenfurter is the one to beat.

+1 to this, when he steps into the light and you see his face for the first time it's almost like a villains introduction and you know he is going to be bad ass, it's one of those things thats so brilliant you have to suspect its one of those happy accidents.

Owen the yokel-redneck in Trains,Planes and Automobiles.
A Very minor scene, but one that always cracks me up.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qB84vzRjjMs&feature=related

Good shout out for Donnie Darko.
My two favourite scenes of the film were the begining with the Echo and the Bunnymen Killing moon soundtrack, and the Head Over Heels Tears for Fears soundtrack School intro.

Kirks entrance in Wrath Of Khan.
Not a classic intro but one I think deserves a mention.

Any Clint Eastwood film/movie.

Iron Man's entrance in The Avengers was cool. You hear Shoot To Thrill blasting over the com and you know what's coming. Plus also Captain America just a few moments before in the same scene.

Both very cool, but lacked the atmosphere of Thor.

"You afraid of lightning?"
"No. Just what comes after it."

Someone mentioned Clarence Boddiker above but Robocop's entrance was awesome. Perfectly teased right up to the footsteps thumping through the department to the firing of the gun, then you get him catching the keys and driving out to that immense score. \o/
