Anybody downloaded this, I don't think it's aired in the UK, but I could be wrong,
I seen the first 13 episodes and I love it, especialy the new years eve episode,
also barney rocks, "High five, no, alright, self five!" he's hillarious, so any body like it?

This show rules! I love it so much. Barney is hilarious but now all the characters are really funny. This show is going to be Legen - and I hope your not lactose intolerent because the next part is - dairy, Legendary.

This is one show I really want to see. I'm a bit late in downloading it now, so I can only hope a UK channel airs it soon.

I downloaded episode 15 last night due to being bored and to see what I've been missing and it was ok.Nothing brilliant, but it was only one episode and Neil Patrick Harris is funny. I'd quite happily watch the other episodes if a UK channel showed it

Probably, depends if anyone says 'bastard' or how strong the sex talk is. It won't be HBO strong, obviously, but this is still before the watershed on a Sunday. It really is an odd time to put it on, I would have thought it would be on during the week. I think episode 2 is being shown on Monday night on BBC3 at 10pm.

BBC really didn't advertise this enough. If it was on C4, I'm sure it would be as big as Friends or Scrubs. It was the best new comedy this year, above My Name Is Earl and Everybody Hates Chris, so it deserves a big audience.

Hmm didn't think that was all that great. Barney seems far more irritating than funny. 'Suit up' wasn't very funny. I'll put it down to it being the pilot.

And it could really do without the laugh track. I don't mind it on most shows but it bugged here for some reason.

Yeah, I figured that wasn't going to be his wife! Very attractive aunt though

It is a weird series - I thought it was really funny after a couple of eps, then it got really bad, and it seems to be a bit better now. Usually it depends on how many good lines Barney gets really.

I thought, after a rocky but solid Pilot, the show started off really well. It then had a few rough episodes, but its return to form has been great! Barney goes from strength to strength, and the show really improves as the other characters come into their own. Barney and Lilly steal the show for me, and after one season I'm already more caught up in Ted and Robins romance more then I ever was with Ross and Rachel, even though we know they won't get together. The first 6 episodes are being hosted on YouTube, if anyone wants to watch them now to see if they like it.

I though the pilot was a bit dogey to, allthough I think episode 2 and onwards are fantastic

It wasnt a brilliant pilot episode for a comedy but I've seen worse. The characters' personalities were established, there was a nice if not predictable twist at the end, and some solid moments. I'll be tuning in next week!

I just watched episode 2 on youtube and it was a vast improvement on the first episode. Moving onto episode 3 now, will probably just watch all the eps on youtube tonight.

I'm glad I kept this thread going now (wasn't any point starting another one)

The first ep was ok, midly amusing, but I almost choked on my dinner with the 'Smurf Penis' line. And the BBC didn't cut it, for a change, I'm actually glad I was wrong.

Meh.  It was alright.  I'll give it a few more episodes before I decide but otherwise the only reason I'm watching is Hannigan, who also popped up in Veronica Mars which I was watching on DVD straight after.

Better than I thought it would be - laughing mostly the whole ay through, so seeing as I'm only on episode 1, It'll probably get better in my eyes...

I didn't even know this was starting. Luckily I caught the end of Top Of The Pops and saw the advert. Loved the first episode, better than the Earl pilot IMO. I'll definatly be watching in the future.

American network CBS has recomissioned it for a second season! I just hope the BBC treat it more kindly than they have done Arrested Development, Family Guy, Larry Sanders, Seinfeld etc etc.

I've already watched up to episode 11. I still don't think it's a great show, but it's perfect for just sitting back and enjoying. It's got a bit of heart too which always helps.
